DAY TWENTY ONE
For our last day of TJJ, we went to Ben Yehuda, the shuk, and Geula🛍️🛒. Then, we headed to our banquet at Ruben😋 where we watched a recap video, sang our TJJ theme song, heard from NCSY national, gave out teen and staff presents, had our last chabura meetings, and headed to the airport for our flights where we played a Kahoot of all the quotes of the summer😭. The goodbyes were emotional, but we know this isn’t the end of our TJJ journey — it’s just the beginning.

DAY TWENTY
Today was our last full day😢 and so we went zip lining and rock climbing🧗‍♀️ to start off! After the best lunch ever, we went shopping for chayalim, and then visited them and gave them snacks🍟🍗. Finally, we went to kever Rochel, the burial site of our foremother. Following that, we had dinner and headed to the Kotel for final reflections❤️. We took turns speaking as we shared what we will be taking from the summer. Good night!

DAY EIGHTEEN
Went to Yad Vashem, Israel’s National Holocaust Memorial, where we learned about the atrocities of the war and the responsibility we carry as the next generation. Next, we hit up BIG mall in Beit Shemesh, where we had lunch on Yummi Shuk😋. We then went to the Biblical Zoo, looking at Israel’s diverse wildlife🐒🐻🦁, and finally Tel Azeka, the place where David and Goliath fought🥷. We ended off the day with a much requested Mystery Moshe gift exchange and banquet part 1😢!

DAY FIFTEEN
TJJ had a meaningful day in the south. We went to the Salad Trail🥗, an agricultural experience in the Negev where we explored and ate Israeli farming products. From there, we went to the Nova Festival site and Tkuma, which were the sites of the atrocities of October 7, 2023. After a meaningful day, we moved to something more light and fun - color war💚🔫🌲🐍❤️🌹🎈👹! Teams green and red went head to head in competitions and we had a great time!!💪💪
