"A lot can happen in 7 days. May we all be blessed during this week as together we remember what Jesus went through on our behalf that week more than 2000 years ago. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing situation in this country, we are unable to host our Easter program like we wanted to. As He sustained us in the past, we look forward in hope to celebrating with our local community once again in the future. Jesus is Risen!"

The Nazareth Village staff partnered together with 22 Romanian volunteers for our special Christmas program this year. It was a blessed event. As it says in Psalm 65:11, "You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance", we pray that the Nazareth Village and all our friends will experience a bountiful and fruitful year in 2026. Happy New Year!

Christmas is upon us and our hearts are glowing and grateful for all that God has done this past year. We are especially excited that around 1500 people from our local community experienced our annual Christmas tour here at the Nazareth Village. Visitors followed along a live reenactment of the nativity story, accompanied by live singing by Mervat Ashkar, and it was a very celebratory and joyful time.

We pray that your Christmas will also be filled with the joy of our Messiah’s birth and the celebrations that accompany it. May Jesus’ peace and light fill your hearts and homes this Christmas and New Year!

Special Christmas tour for the Local Community - Save the Dates!

The Nazareth Village was pleased to host around 650 people from our local community at our special Olive Festival this last weekend. The visitors took part in picking olives from our trees, learning how soaps and perfumes were made, and witnessing the olive crushing and pressing process. At the end of the tour, they spent time enjoying our first century market with food, crafts, olive products and a chance to hand pickle olives. It was a joyous way to celebrate the olive harvest and the recent ceasefire announcement in our region.
