🌟Supporting Families in Their Hardest Times 🌟
I attended a meaningful Hevra Kadisha event at Shomrei Torah in Fair Lawn, NJ, marking ז' אדר, the yahrzeit of Moshe Rabbeinu 🙏. This event was made even more special by the involvement of Rabbi Benjamin Yudin and Rabanit Shevi Yudin, as well as Rabbi Andrew Markowitz and Rabanit Sara Winkler Markowitz. I was honored to be part of this important gathering alongside these esteemed leaders, and I, Avishay Yarimi, am grateful for the opportunity to contribute.
During the event, we heard a powerful and emotional lecture by Einav Danino, the mother of Uri Danino, who was tragically kidnapped and killed by Hamas on October 7 💔. Her words captured the immense loneliness and pain felt by families of victims, who often find it hard to celebrate or embrace joy.
One organization that provides unwavering support during such challenging times is Menucha V’Yeshua, led by Mendy Kenig. This incredible organization is devoted to uplifting families coping with profound grief and loss—offering them compassion, comfort, and hope during their darkest hours .

Organizes subsidized Shabbat retreats for rest, healing, and joy, with kosher meals, workshops, and support groups.
Provides practical and emotional support to families affected by tragedies, including the Iron Swords War, Meron disaster, and other public crises.
Creates spaces for resilience through nature outings, communal prayer, and professional guidance.
Offers financial and technical assistance to help families rebuild their lives.
