A.H.A.V.A has developed a unique English literacy program for both native Hebrew and English speaking children. We provide effective English language instruction in Israel at a cost affordable to all socioeconomic levels. This goal is achieved via properly educated (and paid) teachers working in small groups, with innovative and engaging educational materials.

But Ari won't be the last child whose family needs a little help.

There will be another parent who hesitates before registering. Another family trying to make difficult financial choices. Another child who simply wants to keep learning alongside their friends.

And that's okay.

He doesn't need to know.

He just needs to know that he's back in class with his friends. That he can open a book, discover a magical frog, write a story, and keep getting better at English.

But we know.

You know the family. You know they want their child to continue. You know that finances are making it difficult. 😞

When registration opened, Ari's parent contacted us.

The family was still struggling financially, and the question was simple:

Could Ari have the same arrangement as last year?

Because of the Walter Zanger Scholarship Fund, I was able to say yes.

And now Ari is back with his friends in the classroom, with his brilliant smile. 📚 😁

He's reading about magical frogs and happily writing fantastical stories of his own.

The magic of the Walter Zanger Scholarship Fund is that you rarely see it at work.

You don't know which child has a scholarship and which does not. There is no difference in the classroom. No special label.

We just see a child come to class. 📚

But behind that child may be a parent wondering how they can afford another year. A family trying to make difficult choices. A child who might otherwise have to give up something they love.

The scholarship quietly makes it possible for that child to keep learning.

And that quiet work matters.
