Kishorit is an extraordinary community in the Western Galilee where 180 adults with special needs live hand in hand with a growing mainstream community. Modeled after the traditional Kibbutz (a collective community in Israel and traditionally based on agriculture), we provide a continuum of long-term residential, vocational and social solutions for adults with developmental disabilities and debili

tating mental illnesses. Kishorit enables the members to achieve their full potentials, despite their disabilities, by providing support for their special physical and cognitive needs. Most importantly, Kishorit provides them with a deep sense of social belonging and full membership in a community.
