لطالما كانت هذه الحديقة جزءًا من الجمعية، لكنها مع مرور الوقت أصبحت بحاجة إلى حياة جديدة تُعيد إليها جمالها ورسالتها الإنسانية. واليوم نبدأ معًا رحلة الترميم والإنشاء لتتحول إلى مساحة آمنة ومهيأة بالكامل لأبنائنا من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، ليجدوا فيها الراحة والفرح والأمل.

For many years, this garden has been an important part of our Society (The Four Homes of Mercy). But with time, it became clear that it needed a new spirit — one that would restore its beauty and revive its humanitarian mission.
Today, we begin a new journey of renovation and development, transforming it into a fully accessible and safe space for our children with special needs — a place where they can experience comfort, joy, and hope. In this video, you will see how the garden once looked, and how the process of rebuilding and preparation has already begun, step by step, to create a space worthy of their dreams and smiles.

The Garden of Hope will not be just a garden…
It will be a space for life, inclusion, emotional well-being, and meaningful activities that empower our children with a sense of independence and happiness. With love and dedication, we work today to create a brighter tomorrow. We believe that every corner of this garden will carry a new story of hope. قامت رئيسة وأعضاء مجلس إدارة الملجأ الخيري الأرثوذكسي العربي بزيارة غبطة البطريرك ثيوفيلوس الثالث، بطريرك المدينة المقدسة وسائر أعمال فلسطين والأردن، بمناسبة عيد الفصح المجيد، حيث قدّموا لغبطة البطريرك أصدق التهاني والتبريكات بهذه المناسبة المباركة.

وتمنّى مجلس الإدارة لغبطة البطريرك دوام الصحة والعافية، وأن يعيد الله هذه المناسبة المباركة عليه وعلى أبناء الكنيسة الأرثوذكسية بالخير واليُمن والبركات، وأن تبقى رسالته الروحية والإنسانية منارةً للمحبة والسلام

في يوم الأربعاء الموافق 29/4/2026، تشرفت مؤسستنا باستضافة مبادرة شبابية من "فاعلين خير"، حيث قدموا تبرعًا سخيًا تمثل في تنظيم نشاط ترفيهي وحفلة مشاوي للمنتفعين والموظفين، وذلك بمناسبة يوم العمال، تقديرًا لجهودهم المستمرة في هذا العمل الإنساني.
تخلل النشاط العديد من الفقرات الترفيهية، إلى جانب فقرات الشواء وتناول وجبة الغداء، وسط أجواء مليئة بالفرح والسعادة، مع حرص واضح على رسم الابتسامة على وجوه الجميع
نتقدم بخالص الامتنان والشكر والتقدير لهذه المبادرات الشبابية الرائعة؛ فهذا العمل الإنساني لا يقتصر على تقديم الطعام فحسب، بل يُعد تعبيرًا صادقًا عن روح الدعم والمشاركة، ويعكس القيم النبيلة التي يتمتع بها أعضاء هذه المبادرة

On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, our organization had the honor of hosting a youth initiative from kind donors who generously contributed by organizing a recreational event and a barbecue gathering for both beneficiaries and staff. This event was held in celebration of Labor Day, in appreciation of their continuous efforts in humanitarian work.
The event featured a variety of entertainment activities, along with a barbecue and lunch, all in an atmosphere filled with joy and happiness, with a clear focus on bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.
We extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation for such wonderful youth initiatives. This humanitarian effort goes beyond simply providing food; it is a genuine expression of support and solidarity, reflecting the noble values upheld by the members of this initiative.
We thank you for your dedication and commitment to serving the community and supporting this group of beneficiaries. We wish you continued success in your future initiatives and encourage everyone to follow your example in spreading kindness and compassion.
Your efforts are truly valued and commendable. You are always welcome.

نظّم قسم العمل الاجتماعي، بالتنسيق مع مستشفى المطلع، يومًا طبيًا توعويًا داخل المؤسسة، تضمّن إجراء مجموعة من الفحوصات الأساسية، أبرزها: فحص سكر الدم، وفحص شبكية العين، وفحص القدمين، إلى جانب تقديم إرشادات صحية وتوعوية هدفت إلى تعزيز الوعي لدى المشاركين حول سبل العناية بصحتهم والوقاية من المضاعفات.
وشهد اليوم مشاركة منتفعي الملجأ وعدد من ذويهم، بالإضافة إلى مجموعة من الموظفين، حيث استفاد الجميع من الخدمات الطبية المقدمة والفحوصات المباشرة.
وكان لحضور الأهالي أثر إيجابي ملحوظ، إذ أسهم في تعزيز شعور المرضى بالأمان والطمأنينة، وشجّعهم على إجراء الفحوصات دون خوف أو تردد، لا سيما تلك المرتبطة بالإبر والإجراءات الطبية. كما لعبت مسؤولة قسم العمل الاجتماعي دورًا مهمًا في تهيئة المنتفعين نفسيًا من خلال الدعم المعنوي والتشجيع، مما ساهم في التخفيف من مشاعر القلق والخوف لديهم.
وفي ختام الفعالية، تقدّمت الأخصائية الاجتماعية الأستاذة هيام خنافسه بجزيل الشكر والتقدير للكادر الطبي من مستشفى المطلع، تقديرًا لجهودهم المهنية والإنسانية التي أسهمت في إنجاح هذا اليوم.
كما أكد الطرفان على أهمية تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين المؤسسة والمستشفى، والاستمرار في تنظيم المزيد من الأنشطة والفعاليات الصحية مستقبلًا، بما يخدم مصلحة المنتفعين ويسهم في الارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات المقدمة لهم.
The Social Work Department, in coordination with Al-Mutlaa Hospital, organized an educational medical day within the institution. The event included a range of essential health screenings, most notably blood glucose testing, retinal examinations, and foot assessments. It also featured health education and awareness sessions aimed at promoting participants’ understanding of proper self-care and the prevention of potential complications.
The day was attended by the institution’s beneficiaries, a number of their family members, and several staff members. All participants benefited from the medical services and on-site screenings provided.
The presence of family members had a clear and positive impact, helping patients feel more secure and reassured. This, in turn, encouraged them to undergo examinations without fear or hesitation, particularly those involving needles and medical procedures. The Head of the Social Work Department also played a key role in preparing beneficiaries psychologically by offering emotional support and encouragement, which helped alleviate feelings of anxiety and fear.
At the conclusion of the event, Social Worker Ms. Hiyam Khanafseh extended her sincere gratitude and appreciation to the medical team from Al-Mutlaa Hospital in recognition of their professional dedication and humanitarian efforts, which contributed significantly to the success of the day.
Both parties also emphasized the importance of strengthening ongoing collaboration between the institution and the hospital, and of continuing to organize similar health initiatives in the future to serve the beneficiaries and enhance the quality of care provided.

مرجوحة الفرح
في إطار تعزيز الروابط الأسرية وخلق مساحة آمنة للتعبير عن المشاعر، نُفّذ نشاط "مرجوحة الفرح"، الذي هدف إلى إحياء التفاعل العاطفي بين النزلاء وأهاليهم في أجواء مفعمة بالدفء والبهجة.
جمع النشاط بين المنتفعين وأسرهم في تجربة تفاعلية مميزة، حيث شارك الأهل أبناءهم لحظات اللعب على المرجوحة، فقاموا بمرجحتهم ومرافقتهم بكل حب واهتمام. ولم يقتصر دورهم على الدعم والمساندة، بل انخرطوا في التجربة بأنفسهم، فعاشوا لحظات طفولية صادقة، واستعادوا بساطة اللعب وبراءته إلى جانب أبنائهم.
وقد برزت خلال النشاط مشاعر الحنان والاحتواء بشكل لافت، حيث عبّر الأهل عن محبتهم من خلال القرب الجسدي، والضحك، والمشاركة الفعلية في اللعب، مما عزز لدى الأبناء إحساسهم بالأمان والانتماء.
كما تخلل النشاط فقرات من الغناء، والرقص الجماعي، والتقاط الصور التذكارية التي وثّقت هذه اللحظات الإنسانية الدافئة.
أثبت هذا النشاط أن أبسط اللحظات، حين تُعاش بمحبة وصدق، قادرة على إحداث أثر عميق في النفوس. فعندما يمنح الأهل أنفسهم فرصة للعودة إلى عفوية الطفولة مع أبنائهم، تنمو جسور من القرب والحنان لا يمكن للكلمات وحدها أن تبنيها.

The Swing of Joy
As part of efforts to strengthen family bonds and create a safe space for emotional expression, the activity “The Swing of Joy” was carried out. It aimed to revive emotional interaction between residents and their families in an atmosphere filled with warmth and happiness.
The activity brought together beneficiaries and their families in a unique interactive experience. Parents shared playful moments with their children on the swing, gently pushing them and accompanying them with love and care. Their role went beyond support and encouragement—they fully engaged in the experience themselves, reliving genuine moments of childhood and rediscovering the simplicity and innocence of play alongside their children.
Throughout the activity, feelings of tenderness and nurturing were clearly evident. Parents expressed their love through physical closeness, laughter, and active participation in play, which strengthened the children’s sense of safety and belonging.
The activity also included segments of singing, group dancing, and taking commemorative photos that captured these warm and meaningful human moments.
This activity demonstrated that even the simplest moments, when experienced with love and sincerity, can leave a deep impact on the soul. When parents allow themselves the chance to return to the spontaneity of childhood with their children, bridges of closeness and affection grow—ones that words alone could never build.

في يوم الإثنين الموافق 20/4/2026، تشرفت مؤسستنا باستضافة نشاط مميز أدخل الفرح والسرور إلى قلوب المنتفعين، حيث بادر كلٌّ من صالون تامر مزعرو للسيدات وصالون أبو أدهم للرجال بتقديم خدمات قص الشعر والعناية الشخصية لجميع المنتفعين، في لفتة إنسانية راقية تجسد روح العطاء والمسؤولية المجتمعية.
وتخلل النشاط فقرة ترفيهية مميزة قدّمها المهرج أحمد مجاهد، أضفت أجواءً من البهجة والمرح، وأسهمت بشكل كبير في رسم الابتسامة على وجوه المنتفعين. ولم تقتصر المبادرة على ذلك، بل شملت أيضًا توزيع الهدايا على المنتفعين والموظفين، مما عزز مشاعر السعادة والانتماء لديهم.
وقد ترك هذا النشاط أثرًا إيجابيًا واضحًا، إذ ساهم في تحسين الحالة النفسية للمنتفعين، وتعزيز شعورهم بالاهتمام والتقدير، كما أتاح فرصة لخلق أجواء تفاعلية غنية بالمحبة والإنسانية.
وفي الختام، تقدّمت رئيسة الجمعية، السيدة ديانا مشحور، تلتها الأخصائية الاجتماعية الأستاذة هيام خنافسه، بجزيل الشكر والتقدير لكل من ساهم في إنجاح هذا اليوم. وأكدتا على أهمية هذه المبادرات في تعزيز مفهوم الدمج المجتمعي، ودعم وتمكين الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، وترسيخ شعورهم بأنهم جزء فاعل ومهم في المجتمع.

On Monday, April 20, 2026, our organization had the honor of hosting a special activity that brought joy and happiness to the hearts of the beneficiaries. Tamer Mizirao’ Salon for Women and Abu Adham Salon for Men kindly took the initiative to provide haircuts and personal care services to all beneficiaries, in a refined humanitarian gesture that reflects the spirit of giving and social responsibility.
The activity also featured an entertaining segment presented by the clown Ahmad Mujahed, which created a cheerful and lively atmosphere and greatly contributed to bringing smiles to the beneficiaries’ faces. The initiative did not stop there; gifts were also distributed to both beneficiaries and staff, further enhancing feelings of happiness and belonging.
This activity had a clear positive impact, as it helped improve the psychological well-being of the beneficiaries, strengthened their sense of care and appreciation, and provided an opportunity to create an interactive environment filled with warmth and humanity.
In conclusion, the association’s president, Ms. Diana Mushahwar, followed by the social worker Ms. Hiyam Khanafseh, expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this day. They also emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting social inclusion, supporting and empowering persons with disabilities, and reinforcing their sense of being active and valued members of society. تم باسم الرب عقد خدمة جناز المسيح ظهر اليوم في الملجا الخيري الأرثوذكسي العربي ، تلاها غداء تقشفي، وسط أجواء روحانية مميزة وحضور طيب.

ترأس الصلاة سيادة المطران عطالله حنا، وشاركنا الأب خضر برامكي، فكان يوماً مباركاً غنياً بحضور الأحبة وتبرعات أهل الخير.

وألقت رئيسة الجمعية كلمة ترحيبية بالحضور، كما ألقى الأستاذ نبيل مشحور المستشار القانوني للملجأ، كلمة خلال الغذاء استعرض فيها إنجازات مجلس الإدارة والهيئة الإدارية.

كل الشكر والتقدير لموظفي الملجأ وطاقم المطبخ على جهودهم في إعداد هذا اليوم المبارك.

نور المسيح ينير بيوتكم جميعاً، وكل عام وأنتم بخير

With God’s grace, the Good Friday service was held this afternoon at the Four Homes of Mercy, followed by a simple Lenten meal, in a deeply spiritual and warm atmosphere.

The service was led by His Eminence Atallah Hanna, with the participation of Father Kader Baramki. It was truly a blessed day, enriched by the presence of dear attendees and the generous contributions of kind-hearted supporters.

The head of the board Mrs Diana Mushahwar of the Association welcomed the attenders with a welcoming speach, and Mr. Nabil Mushahwar, the legal advisor also had a speech during the meal highlighting the achievements of the Board of Directors and the administrative team.

Our sincere thanks and appreciation goes to all the staff of the Homes and the kitchen team for their efforts in making this day special.

May the light of Christ fill your homes, and wishing you all a blessed season.
