We are proud to share our latest segment on ILTV Israel News, highlighting World Emunah’s lifelong investment in the incredible young women who walk through our doors.

This feature spotlights Moriah Vaknin, a brilliant graduate of Emunah's Neve Sarah Herzog High School. Today, thanks to the Rabbanit Sarah Herzog Scholarship Fund, Moriah has completed her degree and is already giving back—tutoring and mentoring the next generation of Emunah students as they prepare for their matriculation exams.

At Emunah, education goes far beyond textbooks. We provide strong Jewish values, academic excellence in science and the humanities, and a supportive community for 350 girls, including many from low socioeconomic backgrounds and Ethiopian immigrant families.

Our commitment doesn't end at graduation. Through the Rabbanit Sarah Herzog Scholarship Fund, we remove financial barriers so our outstanding graduates can focus on higher education and step confidently into their futures as leaders of Israeli society.

Last week, we held a special gathering of French Olot from Efrat at the Gush Winery restaurant. The women came together to learn more about Emunah's work in Israel and heard a special presentation from Avigail - a graduate of Emunah's Bet Elazraki Children's Home - about how much her life has changed due to Emunah's care.

The women were all so moved by her words and what they learned about Emunah. It was a wonderful way to get this community of Olot together to connect with Israel!

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house yesterday. At Neve Landy, our home for youth at risk, we didn’t just celebrate a Bar Mitzvah; we celebrated resilience, growth, and the bright futures of these incredible young men.

To say the event was stunning would be an understatement. The staff truly "showed up," transforming the entire home into a festive hall. They didn’t just decorate; they poured their hearts into every corner, ensuring the boys felt the magnitude of their achievement.

In addition, boys from a Yeshiva nearby came to celebrate and make the Bar Mitzvah boys feel truly special.

In a place where life hasn't always been easy, moments like these are everything. Seeing the smiles on the boys' faces as they stood tall, surrounded by a community that believes in them, is exactly why we do what we do.

Mazal Tov to our Bar Mitzvah boys! May you always walk with the strength and confidence you felt today.

Women in Zionism – Where Women Lead

Yesterday's event, hosted by World Emunah, celebrated the legacy and future of female leadership within the Zionist movement. Held at the historic National Institutions Building, the event served as a profound reminder of the unwavering determination that shaped the State of Israel.

A particularly moving highlight was when Elisheva Ansbacher recounted the famous exchange between Golda Meir and King Abdullah I from May 1948. When the King asked why the Jewish people were in such a hurry to proclaim a state, Golda’s legendary response resonated through the room:
"We have been waiting for two thousand years. Is that being in a hurry?"

Special Thanks:
We would like to extend my sincere gratitude to those who made this meaningful event possible:

Eitan Behar, Director of the Communications Center at the WZO: A special thank you for the fascinating tour of the National Institutions Building. Stepping through the history of those halls was an unforgettable experience.

To Our Distinguished Speakers:

Thank you for your inspiring words and for leading by example:

Elisheva Ansbacher (Chair of Vaad HaPoel): Thank you for grounding us in the powerful history of our leaders and for your insightful moderation.

Lilac Haim Eidelberg (Nahariya Municipality): Thank you for inspiring us all with your feminism, your strength, and your dedication to public service.

Yocheved Ruttenberg (Swords of Iron Volunteers): On October 7th, 2023, you dropped everything to take care of our soldiers. Your selfless dedication is a testament to the strength of the women in our nation. Thank you.

It was a true honor to be part of such an empowering evening of leadership, history, and community.
