אתמול הסתיימה סדרה מיוחדת של שבעה מפגשי נשים שבועיים באזור ים המלח —
4.5 שעות של הקשבה, שיח, חיבור וריפוי בכל מפגש.
18 נשים, פלסטיניות וישראליות, נפגשו יחד במרחב אנושי, אמיץ ומרגש, בתקופה שבה מפגשים כאלה הם כה נדירים וקשים למימוש.
תודה גדולה לדפנה קרטה-שוורץ שיזמה והנחתה את המפגשים יחד עם נונה אבו-דאלו, ותודה מיוחדת לסאוסן אבו־שמעא על תרגום רגיש, קשוב ומחבר.
זו תכנית הנשים השנייה שאנו מקיימים, ואנו מקווים מאוד שנוכל לחדש את הפעילות המבורכת הזו בקרוב, אם יימצא לכך מימון.

أمس اختُتمت سلسلة مميزة من سبعة لقاءات نسائية أسبوعية في منطقة البحر الميت —
4.5 ساعات من الإصغاء، والحوار، والتواصل، والتعافي في كل لقاء.
اجتمعت 18 امرأة، فلسطينيات وإسرائيليات، في مساحة إنسانية شجاعة ومؤثرة، في وقت أصبحت فيه مثل هذه اللقاءات نادرة وصعبة التحقيق.
شكر كبير لدافنه كارتا-شفارتس التي بادرت وأدارت اللقاءات مع نونا أبو دالو، وشكر خاص لسوسن أبو شمعا على الترجمة الحساسة، والإصغاء العميق، وروح الوصل التي حملتها.
هذا هو البرنامج النسائي الثاني الذي نقيمه، ونأمل جدًا أن نتمكن من تجديد هذا النشاط المبارك قريبًا إذا توفر التمويل اللازم.

Yesterday marked the conclusion of a special series of seven weekly women’s gatherings in the Dead Sea area —
4.5 hours of listening, dialogue, connection, and healing in each meeting.
18 Palestinian and Israeli women came together in a courageous, moving, and deeply human space, at a time when such encounters are so rare and difficult to make possible.
A big thank you to Daphne Karta-Schwartz, who initiated and facilitated the gatherings together with Nouna Abu-Dalo, and special thanks to Sausan Abu-Shamma for her sensitive, attentive, and connecting translation.
This is the second women’s program we have held, and we sincerely hope to renew this meaningful activity soon, if funding can be found.
And on this occasion — Eid al-Adha Mubarak to our Muslim friends 🌙
