Yom Siddurim 2026 💚

9,200 IDF Lone Soldiers came to the EXPO Tel Aviv today for Yom Siddurim, the annual day where government, military and civilian services all set up under one roof.

Olim from around the world were there alongside Israeli Lone Soldiers from across the country. The goal: knock out the bureaucracy and everyday stuff that’s hard to deal with while you’re in uniform.

70+ ministries, agencies, organizations and service providers were on site helping with:
- Driver’s license conversions
- Biometric IDs and passports
- National Insurance
- Housing
- Employment
- Academic degree recognition
- Banking
- Legal guidance
- Military benefits
- Aliyah services

Soldiers could also learn about the resilience programming and emotional support resources from the Nefesh B'Nefesh-FIDF Lone Soldiers Program with mental health support for Lone Soldiers, reservists and soldiers returning to civilian life.

Organized by the Nefesh B’Nefesh-FIDF Lone Soldiers Program and Merkaz Habodedim, with the Mofet Unit of the IDF Manpower Directorate and the Association for Israel's Soldiers, as part of the IDF’s annual Lone Soldier Appreciation Week.

*The NBN–FIDF Lone Soldiers Program supports Olim who make Aliyah and are required to serve in the IDF, offering practical and community-based support before, during, and after their mandatory service*

As part of the recent Nefesh B'Nefesh On Tour across North America, our IMAP team joined events in New York, Houston, and Dallas to connect directly with doctors, healthcare professionals, and families exploring medical Aliyah.

From packed rooms in Texas to detailed discussions in NY, we had the privilege of speaking with dozens of medical professionals about licensing, career integration, and practicing medicine in Israel. We even saw incredible enthusiasm from attendees gathering resources for relatives and colleagues back home!

Having dedicated IMAP experts on the ground continues to build bridges for healthcare professionals taking their next steps toward Israel.

Last night, our founder, Naomi Stuchiner נעמי סטוצ׳ינר , was honored with the prestigious Sylvan Adams Bonei Zion Award.

For decades, Naomi has dedicated her life to improving the lives of people with disabilities and their families. Her vision, hard work, and determination have helped build Beit Issie Shapiro into the organization it is today, making a lasting difference in Israel and beyond.

We are so happy to see Naomi receive this recognition for a lifetime of dedication to others.

12th Annual Nefesh B'Nefesh Sylvan Adams Bonei Zion Prize 🏆🇮🇱

On Yom Ha'Aliyah, 8 Olim from English-speaking countries were honored last night at the 12th Annual Nefesh B’Nefesh Sylvan Adams Bonei Zion Prize ceremony at the Jerusalem Theater.

Sylvan Adams, Philanthropist and President of the World Jewish Congress Israel shared that, “Aliyah is an act of conviction, a decision to invest your future in the future of the Jewish people. The greatest form of Zionism is expressed with one’s feet: people choosing to come home to Israel.”

This year’s honorees were:
