Yesterday, we were proud to partner with the Jewish Parent Academy, LVL III, New Love Films, CJH, and People Jew Wanna Know to host an exclusive preview of The ASSET Doc.

At the center of this film is AJMA member and Mentorship Chair Dr. Anna Goldenberg, a trauma surgeon, educator, and mentor at Cooper University Hospital.

After the screening, CEO Eveline Shekhman joined a panel discussion on loss, purpose, medicine, service, and the relationships that connect healthcare professionals across borders.

Three years later.

Remembering isn’t only about looking back. It’s about what we’ve chosen to do with the grief.

Our organization was born from that day. Since then, Jewish physicians, residents, students, and healthcare professionals have found each other, built something lasting, and refused to let fear make us smaller. In hospitals, classrooms, and clinics, we show up as healers: with care, with courage, and with each other.

Today we hold the victims, the survivors, and the families still waiting for peace and closure. And we recommit to a profession where no one has to hide who they are in order to serve.

We remember. We carry on. We are still here.

AJMA is bringing the voice of Jewish healthcare directly to Washington.

This week, we met with leaders across Congress and the Executive Branch as part of our ongoing bipartisan advocacy on behalf of Jewish healthcare professionals, students, and patients.

Our conversations focused on strengthening protections against antisemitism and discrimination in healthcare and medical education, ensuring existing civil rights protections are meaningfully enforced, and advancing safer, more professional, and inclusive environments for everyone who learns, works, and receives care in our healthcare system.
