As a new school year begins in Gaza, children are returning to classrooms with hope, but many schools still lack basic essentials like desks and chairs.

We delivered 70 school desk units to Al-A’edoon School and Al-Ilham wa Al-Amal School, benefiting 840 students and staff on a rotational basis. This project cost 21,400$ and was funded by a college that donated especially for this cause!

It is a small contribution to the children and teachers in Gaza, but one that helps create a more dignified learning environment.

This month, our waste management operations continued to protect public health and safety across 8 camps in Al-Mawasi. Our teams carried out essential waste collection and removal activities, clearing accumulated trash from within the camps and safely transferring it directly to the designated landfill in the Al-Qarara area, Mawasi Khan Younis. This ongoing effort this month directly serves 2650 families with a monthly operating cost of $3650, ensuring a cleaner environment for displaced communities.

Looking back at how this initiative started in June, what began as an urgent response to harsh environmental risks has grown into a an ongoing and sustained efforts to keep families safe. These actions are vital to reducing health risks and improving daily camp conditions.

Your support keeps these essential operations sustainable.

The Al-Buraq desalination system is one of our fundamental water provision projects. When critical maintenance was needed, we carried out the necessary works to ensure its continued and reliable operation, securing daily water needs for displaced families across five camps in Mawasi, Khan Younis.

We started this project back in 2025, when we finalized the installation of a desalination unit in a strategic location in the Al-Buraq area, successfully producing 60,000 liters of safe drinking water daily for around 30,000 people. We later expanded the network to include six camps in total, including the main desalination site, creating a preventive water distribution system.

None of this would have been possible without your consistent support. Our consistency is a reflection of yours 🤍

Meet Murad!

An architectural engineer who transitioned from managing projects at Gaza International Airport and running his own firm to adaptive engineering in the camps.

Murad believes deeply in what he does. Where others might see scrap and rubble, he sees hope.

He often says that engineering is about turning ideas into reality. That belief is what brought Murad to us. Between endless projects and fixes, he hopes to move from emergency response into sustainable urban development.

As he works on emergency shelter repairs and solves sanitation and water problems, you can see his care, passion, and resolve in action. When asked about it, he said: "Working with Clean Shelter allows me to see the immediate, tangible impact of our work. Seeing these simple interventions dramatically improve daily living conditions for families gives our efforts true purpose."

His dedication to his community goes hand in hand with his devotion to his family. As a proud father of six, two of his children are now studying engineering, following in his footsteps. He also ensures that his child, who uses a wheelchair, has every opportunity to chase his own dreams.

We are proud of our team members and their efforts, and we would love for you to show your support and solidarity in the comments.🤍

For many vulnerable elderly people and patients with chronic illnesses, something as basic as using the toilet can be unsafe and stressful in IDPs camps.

In Response, we’re building private toilets designed for comfort and safety. So far, 3 toilets have been installed/Refurbished, and we’re continuing to assess more needs for further work.

Your support made this happen. 🤍

Continuing our commitment to improving health and environmental conditions for families in Gaza, we have successfully rehabilitated the damaged sewage network in the Al-Ahwal family building in northern Gaza.

In addition, we fully repaired the building's apartments to address severe wall damage. This project has successfully benefited 11 families at a total cost of $35,650.

See the difference your support made 🤍
