While everyone around us is talking about "getting back to routine," at One Family, routine is the beating heart of everything we do.
It’s resilience in action, and yes, it looks a little different here. Our routine is built from moments of togetherness, deep support, and the quiet work of rebuilding, even on the most difficult days.
This past week has been a testament to that mission, with activities spanning across the country and even the globe:
• Our Therapeutic Retreat in Bulgaria: A group of bereaved parents is currently on a journey of healing and reflection, a time dedicated entirely to finding strength and peace for the soul.
• Support Groups & Workshops: From North to South, we’ve held gatherings for parents, widows, and orphans, alongside creative workshops that provide a voice for feelings that are often hard to put into words.
• Circles of Connection: Meaningful moments of sharing where one heart simply understands another.

Alongside all of this, our most vital work continues quietly every day: our coordinators visiting families in their homes, the personal conversations that deepen our bonds, and our unwavering presence at memorial services, year after year.
For us, "returning to routine" means continuing to be there for one another, at every stage and for every need. Because in One Family, no one is ever left to walk alone. 🧡

We don’t need a Memorial Day to remember – for us, it is our daily reality.

Moments before the siren pierced the sky, Lali Derai and Liat Smadja opened the OneFamily Central Memorial Ceremony in Jerusalem. Two mothers who lost their sons, Saadia and Omer z"l, in the exact same incident, standing together to speak about the one wish in their hearts: the choice to embrace life even through the heartbreak.
