Born in Ukraine during World War II, she fled with her family to Armenia before building a life in Leningrad and later Moscow. Years later, she immigrated to Israel, where she now calls home.

Our volunteers had the privilege of visiting her with a food parcel and special gift as part of our Holocaust survivor deliveries. 💙

Strengthening the bonds of friendship between Christians and Jews 🇮🇱🇯🇵

While in Tokyo, Bridges for Peace International President and CEO, Rev. Peter Fast, together with Japan National CEO, Megumi Tabata, had the privilege of meeting with Israel's Ambassador to Japan, Gilad Cohen.

Their discussion focused on the enduring support that Japanese Christians have shown for the State of Israel and the importance of continuing to strengthen the relationship between Israel and the Christian community in Japan.

At Bridges for Peace, we believe that when Christians and Jews work together in mutual respect, understanding and friendship, we help build a stronger, safer and more hopeful future for Israel. These relationships are especially important during a time when Israel needs faithful friends around the world who are willing to stand with her and advocate for her wellbeing.

We are deeply grateful for the many Japanese Christians who continue to demonstrate their love for Israel through prayer, advocacy and practical support. Together, we can help ensure a secure, prosperous and peaceful future for the people of Israel.
