A new home comes with a lot of firsts. 🏠🇮🇱

Bridges for Peace went to Nahariya to welcome new immigrants with practical essentials: pots and pans, kitchen utensils, bedding, a Tanakh, and something you can’t put in a box: the reminder that they are not alone.

Starting over in a new country is a huge step. We’re honored to stand with these new olim as they build a new life in Israel.

October 7th was a dark day. We remember those we lost, the families forever changed, and the evil that was unleashed against Israel.

But October 7th is not the end of the story.

Tomorrow is October 8th.
The sun will rise. Israel will keep going. Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱

On October 7, 778 civilians were murdered, including 38 children under the age of 18.

Behind every number was a name. A face. A family. A life that mattered.

1,200 lives stolen.
251 people taken hostage.
Countless families forever changed.

These are not just statistics. These are the places where it happened, the communities that were shattered, and the people whose stories we will never forget.

Today, we pause to remember, mourn, and pray.

Pray for Israel. Pray for the families still carrying the weight of October 7. Pray for comfort, healing, and peace. 🇮🇱
