Meet the farmer: Yehudah Alon 🍇🇮🇱

To all our friends and followers in Beit Shemesh — would you believe this gorgeous vineyard is sitting right outside your neighborhood?

Yehudah Alon has been growing table grapes for as long as he can remember, dedicating his life to the land and the fruits it produces. But on October 7th, everything changed. Yehudah was called up to reserves, leaving behind his vineyard to defend our country.

He hasn’t only fought for Israel on the frontlines — he’s fought to keep this beautiful land flourishing for future generations. Through war, uncertainty, and sacrifice, farmers like Yehudah continue to protect the heart of Israel both in uniform and in the fields. 🌱

And soon, with Hashem’s help, his grapes will be ready for harvest this summer.

Thank you, Yehudah, for your service to the country in every field. ❤️

What happens when war breaks out? Sadly, over the last two and a half years, Israel has faced war after war. And while life may feel paused for many, the farmers never have that option.

These farmers are the backbone of our country — feeding families across Israel while living and working on the frontlines near our borders. Through rockets, uncertainty, and endless challenges, they continue to plant, harvest, and protect the land we call home. 🇮🇱🌾

Without them, there is no fresh produce, no thriving agriculture, and no strong connection to the land. Supporting Israeli farmers means supporting the future of Israel itself.

We didn’t either.

But farmers in Israel continue to prove just how innovative they are—finding new ways to grow incredible produce without pesticides, changing the game for agriculture as we know it.

Down south, these farmers are doing something truly special. And it shows in every single strawberry.

Strawberry season is almost over (so sad 😭), but remember this for next year—because this is something you’ll want to experience.

As much as people think the war is over… it’s not. Not even close.

Here in Israel, everything has taken a step back—our agriculture, our imports, our exports, our daily rhythm of life.

For farmers, exports aren’t just extra income. They are often their livelihood. And when that disappears overnight, the impact is immediate and real.

These flowers? They were meant to travel the world.
Instead, they’re left behind—because planes get reassigned, shipments get delayed, and priorities shift in ways we can’t control.

This is the part people don’t always see.
The quiet losses. The unseen struggles.

Support farmers. Support local. Because right now, it matters more than ever.

How can she just pick a strawberry and eat it like that? 🍓

In Israel, farmers are growing strawberries in a unique way—using carefully controlled methods that keep bugs away from the fruit. That means cleaner strawberries, right off the plant.

Of course, washing is always recommended, but it’s pretty amazing to see how fresh and protected these berries are straight from the field.

Innovation, agriculture, and a little bit of magic in every bite.
