“Some buildings are named after people. This one was built by them.

The Dan Family Aish World Center at 1 Western Wall Plaza is the beating heart of Aish’s global mission, steps from the holiest site in the Jewish world. Its name reflects a family whose connection to Aish spans three decades and runs deep.

It was such an honor and joy to welcome Mr. Leslie Dan and Mrs. Anna Dan to the Aish Legacy Summit 2026 in Miami. At 99 years young, Leslie is a World War II survivor, born in Hungary, who has spent his life building Jewish institutions across the world. Sitting with him is a reminder that the Jewish story is not abstract. It is carried by people. And he is one of the people who carried it.

Leslie was a trusted advisor and close friend of Rav Noach Weinberg zt”l, the founder of Aish HaTorah. He was there at the beginning, a guiding partner in establishing Rav Noach’s legacy and turning his dreams into reality. The Dan Family Aish World Center is part of that legacy.

His daughter Andrea Hytman and son-in-law Dr. Stuart Hytman, Chairman of the Aish Board, have continued that partnership with the same love and devotion. Together the Dan and Hytman families are the benefactors and namesakes of the Dan Family Aish World Center and the Dan Family Yeshiva Building. Aish owns 40% of the Kotel frontage property. In the Dan Family name.

One family. Three decades. One address. 1 Western Wall Plaza.”

A beautiful pre-Shavuot gift for ! A special shiur with renowned Torah scholar and lecturer Larry Russak of Seattle, Washington.

Larry and his wife Shelly are not only devoted supporters of Aish, they are soon-to-be grandparents of the efg@Aish program itself, with both a grandson and granddaughter joining to learn at Aish this coming fall.

That is what true partnership looks like. Invested in thought, in spirit, and in action.

Deeply grateful to the Russaks for everything they bring to this mission. Chag Sameach!

“One of my highlights of the Aish Legacy Partner Summit was leading our media panel on Day 1 and then continuing the conversation on Day 2 with a focused social media session.

I opened with a simple question:

“The Jewish story is being told every day. Who’s telling it?”

It was an honor to be joined by Rabbi Daniel Rowe, Lizzy Savetsky and Shabbos Kestenbaum each bringing their own personal touch of clarity, courage, and commitment to  shaping the Jewish conversation on the global stage.

We spoke about why this moment matters, what actually breaks through in today’s media landscape, and how Aish can continue to share a voice of wisdom, love, and responsibility for the world.

On Day 2, I sat down with Shabbos for a deeper conversation about social media, influence, and the responsibility that comes with having a platform.

I left feeling grateful. For the partnership, the leadership, and the shared belief that telling our own story is not optional. It’s essential.” - Aish Global Spokesperson

As Aish Global Spokesperson wrote so eloquently:

“Where attention goes, identity follows.

Just last month at the Aish Legacy Summit, I had the privilege of standing on stage and sharing with the Aish Pillar Society, an elite group of philanthropic visionaries, what we’ve built together as one of the leading Jewish education institutions in the world, and where we’re going next.

Here’s a recap of my Media & Communications presentation:

The average person spends half their waking hours on screens. That’s where worldviews are formed. Think about that for a moment.

Where attention goes, identity follows.

Jewish identity used to come from family, synagogue, community. Now? It’s shaped by the feed. And if we’re not there with compelling content, someone hostile is filling the void.

Aish is leading the conversation. We’re not waiting for others to tell the Jewish story. We’re telling it ourselves. With wisdom, love and responsibility.
And here are the stats to prove it:

- 4 million social followers
- 1 million monthly website sessions
- 755,000 email subscribers
- 10,000 pieces of original content this year alone.
- 500 media placements (doubled from last year)
- 3 feature length documentaries produced.
- The launch of Aish Studios

All this to say, the most powerful achievement isn’t the metrics. It’s Ateret’s story.

Ateret, a young woman who described herself as a “self-hating Jew” was confused about her Judaism. Disconnected, and surrounded by voices distorting truth.

She found Aish online. Quietly. Without fear, and without judgment. She was able to ask questions. She rethought everything, and found her way home.
That is our mission at Aish.

This year we will cross 1 BILLION lifetime video views, generating more views  in the last two years than in the previous twenty combined.
But that’s not what matters::

A billion views isn’t the milestone.
A billion moments of connection is.”
