What a week!! Incredible Shiurim, trip to Gush Etzion, baking Challot and doing Hafrashat Challah for Miluim families, making Pizza for children with cancer, heating a special Sicha from Rav Shlomo Katz, davening Mincha at Kever Rachel, a Yom Iyun with a special guest speakers Rav Nachman Seltzer and Rav Danishefsky, a fun Dorm Night and a late night Vaad at Rav Mayer’s house. Not bad for the first week of 5787! Shabbat Shalom and Gmar Chatima Tova!! Rav Shlomo Katz Just One Chesed קבר רחל אמנו

Our first Chesed trip of the year was to the Shuk Machane Yehudahin Yerushalayim. GIFT Israel organized a fun and uplifting Chesed competition in the Shuk that involved gift giving and making creative Rosh Hashana packages for Miluim families and underprivileged children. Chesed is always amazing but when it’s also a lot fun, that is an extra bonus.

It was an amazing first week! Orientation, Shiurim, Icebrakers and 2 trips! On the first night, we went to the Kotel and on Thursday, we went to do water sports and have a BBQ in the park in Ashdod overlooking the sea at sunset. We can’t wait to spend our first Shabbat together. The Tiferet students will eat the first meal in their teachers homes, have an Oneg led by the Madrichot, lunch with Rav Mayer, icebreakers with the Madrichot, Seudah Shlish*t with Mrs Schneider and Mrs Bankier followed by a singing Havdalla. Shabbat Shalom!!! 🕯️ 🕯️ 🍷 🍞 🍜 🍗 🍰 🛌 📖 🎶

On Tuesday, Shana Alef 5787 arrived and the 22nd year of Tiferet has begun. With over 80 amazing students from all over the world, this year is going to be an unforgettable year of growth, inspiration and friendships to last forever!
