🎭On Tuesday, 26.05, opera "Shulamit" by D.Pruzhansky, directed by Andrei Munteanu premiered at the International Yiddish Theatre Festival in Bucharest-a masterpiece about a heartfelt and profoundly human tale about love, eternal search of meaning and truth.

Under the musical direction of Dr. Sofia Mazar the brilliant international ensemble brought the music of D. Pruzhansky on the stage with great enthusiasm✨

Richard Strauss's "Four Last Songs"(composed in 1948) received their world premiere on May 22, 1950, at the Albert Hall in London. This cycle serve as a composer's serene farewell to his own life and music.
Two songs, "Im Abendrot" and "September" will be performed in the "Night Music Concert" at the Beit Shmuel Theatre at 28.07. 💫

Myth, Music and Heritage✨

A myth in human culture is a powerful narrative that, even if it is not true, is of extraordinary importance or deep meaning for the community that holds it. Whether it takes place in an ancient and distant time or in a parallel reality, a myth introduces us to gods, heroes, and superhuman figures, and offers overt and covert messages about values, identity, and worldview.
The opening concert of the Jerusalem Lyric Opera Festival will take place among the exhibits and ancient myths in the galleries of the Museum of the Bible Lands in Jerusalem. The concert will feature works by Handel, Vivaldi, Telemann and Monteverdi based on rich and familiar Greek mythology, from Telemann to Handel.✨
