*Dr. Leen Yaghmour,* veterinarian with a lifelong passion for animals. Knew she wanted to become a veterinarian since the fifth grade, and succeeded to make her childhood dream into reality.

Graduated from An-Najah National University veterinary school in 2023 and completed six months of training at a private veterinary clinic.
Since 2024, Leen has been working at the JSPCA, where she had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside many experienced veterinarians who have helped develop her clinical skills and build experience.

Dr. Leen's work includes examining and diagnosing dogs and cats, as well as performing routine spay and neuter surgeries and dental procedures
She's passionate about providing compassionate care and continuously learning to become a better veterinarian.

It seems that genius has wonderful healing properties, otherwise it is simply impossible to understand how sweet Genius is still with us.

Genius arrived at our clinic on Thursday afternoon with a complaint of breathing difficulties for the past three days.

Due to his condition, the staff rushed to perform comprehensive tests including blood tests, X-rays, and ultrasound, alongside questioning the owners. The diagnosis indicated beyond a shadow of a doubt that the cat was injured by a significant blow or fall. It then turned out that the cat tried to go out through a door exactly as it was being shut, and the door closed on him.

Genius arrived with a collapsed left lung, a right lung filled with blood with almost no room for air, blood in the chest cavity that was drained, and a diaphragmatic hernia.

After two days in an oxygen cage and medical treatment, his condition has improved. He has an almost endless appetite, and next week, after full stabilization, he will be able to undergo a surgical procedure to repair the diaphragmatic hernia, and hopefully find the right home for him quickly.
