🌿 Visiting Jerusalem? We’d love to welcome you to our shop!

There’s more to our Jerusalem shop than books. When you visit, our team can introduce you to the story of the Bible Society in Israel, share a little of its history, and show you some special Bibles and historical items in our small museum. 📖
We’re always glad to welcome visitors, share stories, answer questions, and spend time together around the Scriptures. We hope your visit will be an opportunity to discover something new and find encouragement along the way. 🤍

On this day, we remember and embrace the families of those who were killed and injured on October 7, 2023.🕯️

Psalms 4
Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.

How long will you people turn my glory into shame? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods? Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him.

Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the Lord.

Many, Lord, are asking, ‘Who will bring us prosperity?’ Let the light of your face shine on us. Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new w**e abound.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.

This week, we had the joy of welcoming a group of women from one of the local Messianic congregations in Israel. They came to Jerusalem for a day during the Sukkot holiday to enjoy the city and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
Jerusalem was full of people, the streets were busy, and crowds were making their way toward the Old City and the Western Wall.
It made us think of the future fulfillment of Zechariah’s prophecy:
“Then … from all the nations … will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.” (Zech. 14:16)
What a special place to be during these days!
And right in the middle of all the excitement, it was such a joy to welcome women from the local Messianic congregation into our shop to meet, talk, encourage one another and simply enjoy being together.

For us, the Bible Society in Israel is about much more than books. It’s a place where we can serve the local believing community, meet people from Israel and around the world, and help make God’s Word available throughout the land.

And what better place to begin a Sukkot visit to Jerusalem than with the Scriptures at the heart of it? 📖

Joy, creativity and fellowship in Israel! 🍂

This Sukkot, we’re grateful for every opportunity to share God’s Word, encourage the local community and make the Scriptures accessible to people throughout Israel. 📖🤍

Together with artists, creators, music, books and a variety of Bibles and Scriptures, we’re celebrating the joy of coming together as brothers and sisters in the Messiah — and sharing the hope of the Gospel in the land where the story began. 🌿

Who is a God like You, who pardons sin and forgives transgression…
- Micah 7:18

God’s plan to bless the nations has always been connected to Israel.

To Abraham, God promised:
״All peoples on earth will be blessed through you.״
(Genesis 12:3)

Through Israel came the Scriptures, the covenant promises, and the Messiah - Jesus. And through the Messiah, God’s salvation has gone out to the nations.

Today, we pray for Israel - that the people to whom the promises were first given will also come to recognize their Messiah.

At the same time, we are grateful to see the local body of believers in Israel growing steadily. We can clearly see God’s hand at work, guiding and building His people here.

We continue to pray for Israel, trusting in the faithfulness of the God who keeps His promises.

״Who is a God like You?"

Especially in these days, when Israel is facing so much uncertainty and the world seems increasingly divided, we are reminded that simple acts of kindness, a listening ear, and an open door can make an eternal difference.

Our bookstore in the heart of Jerusalem is more than a place to find Bibles. Every day, people walk through its doors carrying questions, burdens, and hope. Sometimes a conversation begins that no one could have planned.

We are grateful for the privilege of being there - ready to listen, ready to serve, and trusting God with every story He writes.
