Psalms 13
How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; Enlighten my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death, And my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” And my adversaries will rejoice when I am shaken.

But I have trusted in Your lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.

On Israel’s Memorial Day (Yom HaZikaron), we remember the fallen—those who gave their lives so others could live.
In the midst of grief, we hold on to the promise: ״For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.״ (Jeremiah 29:11)
We pray for comfort and peace for every family who has lost their loved ones.🙏🕯

God is present in every moment of the life of His people, even in the darkest times of history.
Even when deliverance did not come as expected, He did not abandon them. His mercy and faithfulness remain.

His Word still stands today:
"I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners." (Isaiah 57:18)

We serve a living God, full of mercy and compassion
and we trust Him even in sorrow.

"Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn." (Romans 12:15)

On this day, we remember the victims of the Holocaust - the lives lost and the pain carried across generations.
We pray for comfort, healing, and peace for all who mourn.

From the Exodus until today, we observe Passover, telling the story of redemption and remembering God’s greatness. The feast has been kept from generation to generation, as commanded.

During the Second Temple period, Jesus of Nazareth also went up to Jerusalem to celebrate Passover. The Gospels describe the last Passover meal He shared with His disciples—a moment that took on a deeply eternal meaning.

In His words, Jesus pointed to a connection between the Passover lamb in Egypt and what was about to happen to Him. Just as the blood of the lamb brought protection from death and deliverance from bo***ge, so His blood brings deliverance from sin and a place of refuge for those who trust in Him.

In this way, God’s plan of salvation—foreshadowed in the first Passover—finds its fulfillment, as it is written: “For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.” (1 Corinthians 5:7)

“And each of the builders had his sword strapped at his side while he built… Our God will fight for us.”
Book of Nehemiah 4:18, 20

The Book of Nehemiah tells the story of the Jewish people returning from exile to rebuild their homeland a time of hardship, perseverance, and renewed faith in God.

Today, as well, we are walking through challenging days. This story reminds us that God remains faithful and continues to work among His people.

The Book of Nehemiah is available in modern Hebrew, in a clear and accessible format alongside the Masoretic Text. We invite you to read with us and to pray with us, that through every trial, our people will draw near to God, come to know the Messiah, and turn their hearts to Him.
