Sergeant Yosef Yehuda Chirak, the 22-year-old combat soldier killed this morning, is the 857th IDF soldier killed since October 7th 2023

These men and women were killed — not for conquest, not for revenge, but to bring our people home.
The October 7th Hamas attacks on Israel were a surprise during a time of relative quiet.
Taking of so many Soldiers and Civilians as hostages could not be ignored and the IDF had to do EVERYTHING to get them released

🎗️ We stand with the hostages.

🎖️ We stand with the soldiers.

🕯️ We cry for every innocent life caught in the crossfire.

May this end soon. With all of them home.

have you considered how the parents of a hospitalized child are able to accompany their sick child and care for other children at home, their jobs, their daily errands....

At YACHAD we have considered this and that is why we send trained and compassionate volunteers to be by the childs side when the parents are not not able to....

Reb Shimon Bar Yochai requested that the day of his passing be observed as a "Hillula" (celebration) — hence, Lag BaOmer is celebrated with joy, music, dancing, bonfires, and pilgrimages, especially to his grave in Meron.

After criticizing the Roman government, Reb Shimon was forced to flee for his life. He and his son Elazar hid in a cave in Peki’in (Northern Israel) for 13 years. According to tradition, they were sustained by a carob tree and a spring of water that miraculously appeared.
