For more than two thousand years, the people of Israel were exiled from its
land. Although dispersed in the four corners of the earth, they kept their faith
in the Divine promise – never to lose hope of returning home. Since 1920, Keren Hayesod-United Israel Appeal – which is the official
fundraising arm of the State of Israel – has played a major role in helping to
realize the prophet Zephaniah’s
vision. After the brutal destruction of one-third of world Jewry in the Holocaust, on
November 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly passed Resolution
181 approving an independent Jewish State, and the State of Israel was
officially established on May 14, 1948. a new oleh arrives! The Jewish ancestral homeland was again officially reborn in the Land of
Israel – the first step in the coming of the Messiah! Based on our Biblical
prophecies, we are privileged to witness today the return of Jews from the
Diaspora to the Promised Land - the land of their forefathers! Every half hour
hrough their common heritage, Jews and Christians throughout the world
are working hand-in-hand to support Keren Hayesod’s ongoing efforts to help
the Jewish people return to Israel, in order to ensure its safety and security. Thank you for supporting Israel in so many ways by contributing towards the
