Red Mountain Therapeutic Riding Center-

22/10/2026

We were delighted to welcome our friends from JNF USA to Red Mountain Therapeutic Riding Center! 🇮🇱🇺🇸

Thank you for traveling all the way to the Arava to experience our incredible farm and see what we are building together.

Together, we are making a difference! ❤️

We were honored to welcome 40 police officers from the United States who are cycling in memory of fallen officers and collaborating with the Israel Police.

It was a pleasure to share the work we do here in the Arava, and to connect through our shared commitment to service, community, and making a difference.

We shared meaningful moments, heartfelt conversations, and a glimpse into the healing power of horses and nature.

And as if to make the visit even more special, the rain came to greet us too! 🌧️🐎

Meet Be’eri.

Born after October 7th, he was named after Kibbutz Be’eri- a name that carries pain, courage, loss, and the choice for life.

He is almost three years old and today, for the very first time, Shira climbed onto his back.

It is not just about teaching a young horse to carry a rider.

It is about building trust
Learning responsibility
Finding balance
Creating safety
And discovering what becomes possible when there is connection

Gmar Chatima Tova

A time for reflection, forgiveness, and returning to what is true.

Like horses, may we learn to listen deeply, feel honestly, let go of what no longer serves us, and step forward with an open heart.

Wishing you a meaningful Yom Kippur 🐎🤍

This Saturday, Rafi celebrates his birthday, and we want to take a moment to say thank you. ❤️
Thank you to the humble man behind Grofit Farm.
Thirty years ago, Rafi built his life’s work here. Since then, thousands of children have passed through the farm, receiving countless hours of therapy, support, belief and love.
Rafi is the kind of person who is always there when you need him. A strong and dedicated leader, with determination, responsibility and endless commitment. But behind all the work and management is a man with a huge heart and deep sensitivity to the people around him.
Rafi is a man of action. Simply showing up and making things happen, day after day, for 30 years.
And here’s something you may not know: when Rafi was just 15, he worked hard and saved money to buy his own horse. That horse, and his love for these incredible animals, have stayed with him throughout his life.
And one more fun fact: Rafi even appeared as a rider in a film shot in Israel starring Brooke Shields. 🎬🐴
So Rafi, this Saturday we celebrate you- the journey you’ve taken, the place you’ve built, the thousands of children whose lives you’ve touched, and all the people and horses who are part of this story.
Happy birthday, Rafi

Healing begins not with understanding what happened-
but with the body discovering what safety feels like

A somatic experience with nature and horses reaches beyond words. It helps regulate the nervous system, creates a sense of safety, presence, and connection, and allows healing that conversation alone cannot provide
