الكشافة الفلسطينية تبحث توسيع الشراكات لخدمة الطلبة وتعزيز العمل الكشفي
عقد فريق مشروع «معًا ننهض لتعافي وتمكين الحركة الكشفية الفلسطينية في قطاع غزة» لقاءً كشفيًا بهدف تعزيز الشراكة وتوسيع مجالات التعاون بما يخدم الطلبة في المدارس والنقاط التعليمية، ويدعم دور الحركة الكشفية في خدمة المجتمع.
وجاء اللقاء بحضور مدير المشروع القائد أحمد سرحان وفريق العمل، والقائد ياسر ظهير عضو المكتب التنفيذي لجمعية الكشافة الفلسطينية، وأعضاء لجان المتابعة في محافظتي خان يونس ورفح، إلى جانب عدد من قادة العمل الكشفي، وبمشاركة الدكتور عبد الغني الشيخ مدير دائرة الأنشطة الكشفية والرياضية ورئيس نادي خدمات خان يونس.
وفي مستهل اللقاء، رحّب الدكتور عبد الغني الشيخ بفريق المشروع والحضور، مؤكدًا أن الهدف الأسمى من العمل المشترك هو خدمة الطلبة وتحقيق المصلحة العامة، والعمل على إعداد خطة ورؤية واضحة للعمل الكشفي، بما يعزز حضوره ودوره في المؤسسات التعليمية والمجتمعية.
من جانبه، رحّب القائد أحمد سرحان بالمشاركين، ونقل رسالة تقدير من القائد محمد الحسني نائب رئيس جمعية الكشافة الفلسطينية، ومن الدكتور يحيى الخطيب مدير عام المجلس الأعلى للشباب والرياضة في المحافظات الجنوبية. كما استعرض أبرز محاور المشروع ومجالات العمل، ونقاط الالتقاء والتعاون المشترك لتنفيذ الأنشطة، مؤكدًا أهمية إشراك القادة الحاضرين والاستفادة من خبراتهم في تطوير العمل الكشفي وتوسيع أثره.
وشهد اللقاء نقاشًا حول أهمية الحركة الكشفية ودورها في غرس القيم والمبادئ لدى الطلبة، وتنمية روح المسؤولية والانتماء والعمل الجماعي، إلى جانب دورها على المستوى العالمي في بناء الإنسان وتعزيز قدراته ومساهمته الإيجابية في المجتمع.
وفي ختام اللقاء، جرى تكريم الدكتور عبد الغني الشيخ بمناسبة حصوله على درجة الدكتوراه، تقديرًا لجهوده وعطائه في خدمة الحركة الرياضية والكشفية والمجتمع.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار حرص جمعية الكشافة الفلسطينية على توسيع شبكة شراكاتها مع مختلف المؤسسات المجتمعية والتعليمية، وتعزيز التعاون المشترك بما يسهم في تطوير العمل الكشفي، وتوسيع نطاق الاستفادة من برامجه وأنشطته، وبما يخدم الطلبة والمجتمع الفلسطيني.
Palestinian Scouts Explore Expanded Partnerships to Support Students and Strengthen the Role of Scouting
The team of the “Together We Rise for the Recovery and Empowerment of the Palestinian Scout Movement in the Gaza Strip” project held a Scout meeting aimed at strengthening partnerships and expanding areas of cooperation to support students in schools and educational points, while enhancing the role of Scouting in community service.
The meeting was attended by Scout Leader Ahmed Sarhan, Project Manager, and members of the project team; Scout Leader Yasser Dhahir, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Scout Association; members of the Follow-up Committees in Khan Younis and Rafah; and a number of Scout leaders. The meeting also brought together Dr. Abdul Ghani Al-Sheikh, Director of the Scout and Sports Activities Department and President of Khan Younis Services Club.
At the opening of the meeting, Dr. Abdul Ghani Al-Sheikh welcomed the project team and participants, emphasizing that the primary objective of joint efforts is to serve students and advance the public interest. He stressed the importance of developing a clear plan and vision for Scouting that strengthens its presence and role within educational and community institutions.
For his part, Scout Leader Ahmed Sarhan welcomed the participants and conveyed messages of appreciation from Scout Leader Mohammed Al-Hasani, Vice President of the Palestinian Scout Association, and Dr. Yahya Al-Khatib, Director General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in the Southern Governorates. He also presented the project’s key areas of focus and fields of work, as well as opportunities for joint cooperation in implementing activities, emphasizing the importance of engaging participating Scout leaders and drawing on their expertise to further develop Scouting and expand its impact.
The meeting included discussions on the importance of the Scout Movement and its role in instilling values and principles among students, fostering a sense of responsibility, belonging, and teamwork. Participants also highlighted Scouting’s broader global role in developing individuals, strengthening their capacities, and promoting their positive contribution to society.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Abdul Ghani Al-Sheikh was honored on the occasion of receiving his PhD, in recognition of his efforts and contributions to the sports and Scout Movement and to the wider community.
The meeting forms part of the Palestinian Scout Association’s efforts to expand its network of partnerships with educational and community institutions and strengthen cooperation in ways that contribute to the development of Scouting, broaden access to its programmes and activities, and better serve students and the Palestinian community.
