القوس للتعدّديّة الجنسيّة والجندريّة في المجتمع الفلسطينيّ (ج. م.) هو مجموعة من الناشطات والناشطين من المِثْليّات، والمِثْليّين، وثنائيّي الميول الجنسيّة، ومتحوّلي النوع الاجتماعيّ، والمتسائلين وأشخاص يعيشون توجّهات جنسيّة وجندريّة مختلفة، وأصدقائهم. القوس هو حيّز مفتوح وذو قاعدة شعبيّة واسعة يستوعب ويتلقّى ويحتوي ويتفاعل ويُشْرِك في الجهود والطاقات التي تهدف إلى خلخلة أنظمة القمع الجنسيّ والجندر
يّ، وأدوات السيطرة على الجسد والجنسانيّة، من النظام الأبويّ والرأسماليّ إلى الاستعماريّ، وإعادة تشكيل علاقات القوّة الناتجة عنها للمساهمة في خلق مجتمع يحوي توجُّهات جنسيّة وجندريّة متنوّعة.
فكرنا: تقوم مجموعتنا على أُسُس وقِيَم نسويّة وكويريّة مناهضة للاستعمار، استقيناها من عملنا على الأرض وعلاقاتنا بحركات التحرّر في أنحاء العالم. ترتبط هذه القيم ارتباطًا مباشرًا بعملنا على إحداث تغيير مجتمعيّ جذري، عبْرَ إعادة تشكيل البُنى القائمة التي تكرّس القمع والإقصاء، وليس العمل على إحداث تعديلات طفيفة في الأنظمة المجتمعيّة القائمة، لنقاسم الطبقات القامعة مكتسباتها وحقوقها المسلوبة من المهمّشين والمقموعين.
كذلك نؤمن بارتباط عملنا بكلّ الحركات ضدّ أشكال التمييز كافّة، ونشدد على دورنا المترابط والمساند لهذه النضالات. لذا فانّ القوس، بوصفها مجموعة ضمن المجتمع المدنيّ، تعتبر نفسها جزءًا لا يتجزّأ من الشعب الفلسطينيّ أينما كان، وتلتزم بالتفاعل مع قضايا المجتمع وهمومه الاجتماعيّة والاقتصاديّة والسياسيّة والثقافيّة. علاوة على هذا، تطمح القوس إلى العمل على نطاق فلسطين التاريخيّة دون الاعتراف بالحدود الاستعماريّة -بالرغم من سياسات التجزئة والفصل العنصريّ الإسرائيليّة التي تهدف إلى تشتيت الشعب الفلسطينيّ وتشويه هُويّته وتاريخه.
مهمتنا: مَهمّتنا هي العمل مع أشخاص يعيشون توجّهات جنسيّة وجندريّة مختلفة، وبناء مجموعات ناشطة وفاعلة تعمل بالتعاون مع الحِراك الجنساني الاجتماعي والسياسي، تَقويض النظام الأبوي الذكوري وعلاقات القوّة النابعة منه في سبيل مجتمع فلسطيني يذوّت مبدأ التعدّديّة الجنسيّة والجندريّة ويحترم الاختلاف.
نطمح إلى تحقيق مَهمّتنا من خلال تعزيز القوس كحيّز مستقطِب وتعدّديّ، ضمن قِيَمِه: توفير مساحة ناشطة لدى أصحاب هذه التوجّهات والهُويّات وأصدقائهم للالتقاء والحوار والإبداع؛ تطوير قدرات ومهارات الناشطات والناشطين؛ تعزيز الائتلافات في الحِراكات المختلفة؛ العمل على التغيير المجتمعي، وفتح حوار مجتمعي مسؤول حول الأنظمة القمعيّة المختلفة التي تسيطر على أجسادنا، وعلى التوجّهات والممارسات والهُويّات الجنسيّة والجندريّة المختلفة والمتنوّعة.
أهدافنا
- العمل مع أشخاص يعيشون توجّهات جنسيّة وجندريّة مختلفة في المجتمع الفلسطيني.
- بناء مجموعات مِثْليّة وكويريّة محلّيّة ذات وعي قادرة على التأثير على واقعها والعمل مع باقي المجتمع لتشكيل التغيير الذي نريد.
- المساهمة في تطوير رؤية نقدية للخطاب الجنسانيّ القائم، لكي نحقق تغييرا مجتمعيا جذريا نابعًا من خصوصيّة مجتمعنا الفلسطينيّ بمختلف فئاته.
- المبادرة إلى الشروع في حوار مجتمعيّ مسؤول حول الأفكار التي تعمل ضد هيمنة الخطاب الجنسانيّ السائد، والسعي نحو بناء مجتمع غير هرمي يذوّت ويحترم الاختلاف والتنوّع والتعدّديّة الجنسيّة والجندريّة.
عملنا: تهدف القوس إلى تطوير مشاريعها، من خلال وضع أَجِنْدة تستند إلى قاعدة واسعة من المعرفة المتغيّرة والتجربة العمليّة التي يثريها الناشطون والناشطات من خلال العمل في الحقل. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تعمل القوس على تطوير رؤية واضحة ومتكاملة، وبناء إستراتيجيّات عمل تستند على حاجيّات مجتمعنا ، وتطوير برامج تنسجم مع واقعنا الحاليّ وتُستَوحى منه على المستويات الفرديّة والمجتمعيّة المِثْليّة والمجتمعيّة العامّة. تنقسم مشاريع القوس إلى ثلاثة مجالات رئيسيّة:
- مشاريع دعم واستشارة: ترمي هذه المشاريع إلى توفير خدمات وأطُر دعم وديّة وآمنة لأشخاص يعيشون توجّهات جنسيّة وجندريّة مختلفة، عن طريق الدعم والاستشارة النفسيّة، وتشمل: الخط - اصغاء ومعلومات باللغة العربية، مجموعات دعم، وخدمات استشارة نفسية.
- مشاريع مثليّة وكويريّة: تهدف هذه البرامج إلى تطوير قيادات وبناء مجموعات محلّيّة وقطْريّة ذات وعي ومعرفة في قضايا التعدّديّة الجنسيّة والجندريّة. تعمل هذه المجموعات في أربعة مراكز رئيسيّة: حيفا؛ يافا؛ القدس؛ رام الله، وتشمل: تطوير كوادر الناشطين/ات، مجموعات شبابيّة "أنا وجنسانيّتي"، مناسبات فنّيّة واجتماعيّة مثل حفلات القوس الشهرية، ومبادرة الصحة "بحبّك آمِن".
- مشاريع التغيير المجتمعيّ: تهدف هذه المشاريه على حثّ المجتمع الفلسطينيّ على الانخراط في نقاش مجتمعيّ مسؤول حول مواضيع التعدّديّة الجنسيّة والجندريّة، بغية كسر الآراء المُسْبَقَة وتحدّي هيمنة المفاهيم الغيريّة السائدة حول الهُويّة الجنسيّة والميول المِثْليّة والنوع الاجتماعيّ، على نحوٍ نظريّ وعمليّ. تعمل هذه المشاريع على النهوض بالوعي وبناء شراكات فعّالة مع مجموعات عديدة في المجتمع، وتوفير آليّات وطرق جديدة للتطرّق إلى هذه المواضيع بواسطة تدريب كوادر المؤسّسات المختلفة وتطوير مشاريع تثقيفيّة إبداعيّة مثل غنّي عن التعريف.

Who are we? alQaws for Sexual & Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society is a group of gay, le***an, bisexual, transgender, questioning and q***r (LGBTQ) Palestinian activists and allies. An open q***r and feminist space, alQaws inspires and engages its community to disrupt sexual and gender-based oppression and challenge regulation, whether patriarchal, capitalist or colonial, of our sexualities and bodies. alQaws works collaboratively to transform Palestinian society’s perspectives on gender and sexual diversity, LGBT issues, and to struggle for broader social justice. In the unique context of our socially and politically fragmented society, alQaws’ work is organized in complementary efforts that focus on the individual, community and societal levels, that together ensure real transformation toward sexual and gender diversity in Palestinian society. Crossing socio-economic, ethnic, religious, ability, occupation, and education lines, we engage Palestinian LGBTQ individuals, with an added focus on the needs of women, youth and transgender individuals. We work in various locations across Palestine; challenging restrictions and boundaries imposed by systematic military separation and control of our communities. These locations include: Ramallah and the West Bank, Yaffa, Jerusalem and Haifa. We believe that our capability for social change starts with our capability for and commitment to internal change. alQaws is connected to our Palestinian reality and context. With over a decade of grassroots and institutional organizing experience, alQaws’ strength comes from its dedication to creating a movement driven by the people most directly impacted by a lack of societal support for gender and sexual diversity and that has deep-rooted misperceptions and taboos about sexual and gender identity, including homosexuality. We are striving towards a vision of sustainable social and cultural change and aspire to lead real personal and collective transformation among our members and communities. We see ourselves as part of a wider movement to create an open society that celebrates diversity in all its forms. One that internalizes a non-hierarchical perspectives on sexuality and sexual rights, and enables self expression of diverse identities, practices and desires. We provide Palestinian LGBTQ activists and allies with space for creative and dialogue-based activism; create capacity-building and knowledge-sharing opportunities; build coalitions and alliances with social and political movements; and inspire responsible and engaged dialogue on the diversity of sexual and gender identities and practices. alQaws applies three main strategies:
Counseling and support: These initiatives aim to provide counseling and friendly supportive spaces for individuals with diverse sexual and gender identities and practices. It is divided to three different categories, the first is peer to peer support which includes “alkhat,” the National Hotline, or Listening and Information Line (www.alkhat.org), which is a service operated by a team of volunteers from alQaws. The hotline also includes an online chat platform (www.alkhat.org) as a more discreet option. In addition, we provide professional support service that includes Groups & One-on-One therapeutic sessions. And lastly, we work to build a network of friendly service providers and therapists. Community-Building: One of our main goals is to provide space for the development of strong, proactive and politically aware communities; communities of individuals that are able to live and celebrate all layers of their identity. That is done through outreach programs, local leadership groups, and hosting intellectual and cultural events that provide a rare space for creative energies in the domain of sexual and gender diversity. Some of our current community programming include: monthly q***r party, youth capacity building groups, and local and national activists meetings. Social & Cultural Change: Our large-scale social change efforts aim to harness grassroots power as well as institutional power to advance positive change in relation to gender and sexual issues among influential civil society institutions, youth and students, news media, and cultural producers. That is done through creating multi-media and music projects, conducting educational training and networking events with civil society organizations, and holding the first ever academic school program on sexual and gender diversity.
