Augusta Victoria Hospital Conducts Field Visit to Hebron Governorate.

Augusta Victoria Hospital (AVH) conducted a field visit to the Hebron Governorate as part of its efforts to strengthen its role as a leading referral healthcare institution and expand cooperation with official, economic, and community organizations across the governorate.
The delegation included Bishop Dr. Imad Haddad, Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land; Ms. Sieglinde Weinbrenner, LWF Country Representative, Dr. Fadi Atrash, Chief Executive Officer of Augusta Victoria Hospital; Dr. Hani Abdeen, Medical Director; along with a number of physicians and administrative staff.
The visit included meetings with Hebron Governor Khaled Dodeen, Mayor of Hebron Eng. Yousef Al-Jaabari, Abdo Idris, Chairman of the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Nabil Azghir, Chairman of the Board of Royal Group of Companies. The delegation concluded its visit with a tour of Hebron's Old City.
During the meetings, Bishop Dr. Imad Haddad expressed his appreciation for the economic and institutional progress taking place in Hebron Governorate, praising the efforts of its institutions and community organizations in advancing development despite ongoing challenges. He reaffirmed that the Lutheran World Federation will continue supporting the Palestinian community through its healthcare and social services, foremost among them the specialized medical care provided by Augusta Victoria Hospital to patients from across the Palestinian governorates.
For her part, Ms. Sieglinde Weinbrenner, LWF Country Representative, emphasized the importance of the visit in strengthening partnership and communication between Augusta Victoria Hospital and institutions in Hebron Governorate. She noted that such engagement helps raise awareness of the hospital's specialized medical services and enhances cooperation to facilitate patients' access to treatment. She added that, with the support of the Lutheran World Federation, the hospital continues to fulfill its healthcare and humanitarian mission by delivering high-quality medical services that uphold patients' dignity and support them throughout their treatment and recovery.
Dr. Fadi Atrash highlighted the hospital's latest developments, particularly the expansion of specialized medical services and the enhancement of patient admission and referral systems despite the current exceptional circumstances. He stressed that the hospital, in partnership with various national institutions, remains committed to strengthening its role as a leading referral healthcare institution serving patients from all Palestinian governorates while continuing its medical and humanitarian mission with professionalism and dedication.
The visit forms part of the ongoing efforts of Augusta Victoria Hospital and the Lutheran World Federation to expand engagement with Palestinian governorates and strengthen cooperation with local institutions in ways that benefit patients and enhance the availability of specialized healthcare services throughout the Palestinian community.

مستشفى "المطلع" ينظم جولة ميدانية في محافظة الخليل.

نظّم مستشفى الأوغستا فكتوريا "المطلع" جولة ميدانية في محافظة الخليل، في إطار تعزيز حضوره كمؤسسة صحية مرجعية وتوسيع جسور التواصل مع المؤسسات الرسمية والاقتصادية والمجتمعية في المحافظة. وشارك في الجولة سيادة المطران الدكتور عماد حداد، مطران الكنيسة الإنجيلية اللوثرية في الأردن والأراضي المقدسة، والسيدة زجلندة فاينبر، ممثلة الاتحاد اللوثري العالمي في القدس، والمدير التنفيذي للمستشفى الدكتور فادي الأطرش، والمدير الطبي الدكتور هاني عابدين، وعدد من الأطباء والإداريين.

وشملت الجولة لقاءات مع عطوفة محافظ الخليل السيد خالد دودين، وسعادة رئيس بلدية الخليل المهندس يوسف الجعبري، ورئيس اتحاد الغرف التجارية السيد عبدو إدريس، ورئيس مجلس إدارة مجموعة شركات رويال السيد نبيل أزغير، قبل أن يختتم الوفد زيارته بجولة في البلدة القديمة بمدينة الخليل.

وأكد سيادة المطران عماد حداد خلال اللقاءات اعتزازه بما تشهده محافظة الخليل من تطور على المستويين الاقتصادي والمؤسسي، مشيدًا بجهود مؤسساتها وفعالياتها في مواصلة مسيرة التنمية رغم التحديات. كما شدد على أن الاتحاد اللوثري العالمي سيواصل دعم المجتمع الفلسطيني من خلال خدماته الصحية والاجتماعية، وفي مقدمتها الخدمات التي يقدمها مستشفى الأوغستا فكتوريا "المطلع" للمرضى من مختلف المحافظات.
من جانبها، أكدت السيدة زجلندة فاينبر، ممثلة الاتحاد اللوثري العالمي في القدس، أهمية هذه الزيارة في تعزيز الشراكة والتواصل بين مستشفى "المطلع" ومؤسسات محافظة الخليل، بما يسهم في تعريف المجتمع المحلي بالخدمات الطبية التخصصية التي يقدمها المستشفى، وتعزيز سبل التعاون لتسهيل وصول المرضى إلى العلاج. وأشارت إلى أن المستشفى، بدعم من الاتحاد اللوثري العالمي، يواصل أداء رسالته الصحية والإنسانية تجاه أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني، من خلال تقديم خدمات طبية نوعية تحفظ كرامة المرضى وتساندهم في مسيرة العلاج والتعافي.

بدوره، استعرض الدكتور فادي الأطرش أبرز التطورات التي يشهدها مستشفى "المطلع"، لا سيما في مجال توسيع الخدمات الطبية التخصصية وتطوير آليات استقبال المرضى وتحويلهم، رغم الظروف الاستثنائية الراهنة. وأكد أن المستشفى يعمل، بالشراكة مع مختلف المؤسسات الوطنية، على تعزيز دوره كمؤسسة صحية مرجعية تخدم المرضى من مختلف محافظات الوطن، وتواصل رسالتها الطبية والإنسانية بمهنية والتزام.

وتأتي هذه الجولة في إطار حرص مستشفى "المطلع" والاتحاد اللوثري العالمي على توسيع شبكة التواصل مع المحافظات الفلسطينية، وتعزيز التعاون مع المؤسسات المحلية بما يخدم المرضى ويعزز حضور الخدمات الصحية التخصصية في المجتمع الفلسطيني.
