Joseph Project International

Joseph Project International We import containers of goods from around the globe and distribute them through reputable humanitarian organizations in Israel. Needy Israelis need help.

First World Country, Third World Problems

Israel is a modern and technologically-advanced nation, but almost 25% of Israelis - over 1.7 million people including over 900,000 children - live below the poverty line. Sadly, this is one of the highest rates among all developed nations. Our young nation constantly absorbs new immigrants while facing perpetual security threats. Today, diverse needs amo

ng people groups are stretching the welfare system as resources are diverted for security. Meanwhile, the boycott Israel (BDS) movement has dampened investment. Communities facing deepening levels of poverty include new immigrants and Holocaust survivors. The elderly, victims of terror, recovering addicts, former prostitutes, orphans and at-risk youth, homeless, and impoverished rural communities also experience acute deprivation. Working Together to Help Israelis in Need

The Joseph Project imports aid into Israel from charities worldwide. Clothing, blankets, medical supplies, furniture, linen and bedding, diapers and family items, tools, shoes, and other supplies are imported and stored in our modern 22 thousand square foot warehouse near Jerusalem. We distribute aid to individuals through our growing network of independent local centers and reputable social welfare organizations across the nation. Beneficiaries include single-parent families, rehab centers, orphanages, hospitals, congregations, schools, nursing homes, soup kitchens, and more. Since 2000 we have delivered over $100 million in humanitarian aid to the needy and those who struggle - Jew and Arab, religious and secular, reaching tens of thousands every year. Our partners drive the operation. From Holland and Germany to Australia, from China to the United States, the nations have come together to bless Israelis and demonstrate God’s love.

In southern Lebanon, IDF soldiers continue facing the growing threat of Hezbollah incendiary drones. These attacks have injured soldiers, damaged equipment, and made an already dangerous environment even more deadly.

In response, The Joseph Project donated fishing nets to units operating in the area. These simple but critical nets help provide protection for soldiers and equipment against drone attacks.

Shortly after, we received this message from the soldiers:

“During these complex days of fighting, when the enemy has intensified the drone threat, we want to thank you for the fishing nets you donated to us.

The nets provide protection for our people and our equipment, and give us a little more peace and security inside a very challenging combat zone.

You saved lives.”

Thank you to our donors for making support like this possible. Your generosity is helping protect those who stand on the front lines for Israel every day. 🙏

What a joy and privilege to welcome a group from the United States to the warehouse of Joseph Project. Together, we packed food, hygiene supplies, games for children, and essential provisions for families across Israel facing poverty and hardship.

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand with Israel and serve with such generosity and love.

Chag Shavuot Sameach from the Joseph Project team!

As we celebrate this beautiful season of first fruits, may it be a reminder of God’s faithfulness and provision in every season. Shavuot invites us to live with grateful hearts, open hands, and renewed hope for the days ahead.

Wishing you and your loved ones a holiday filled with peace, joy, and abundant blessings.

We were deeply moved to help bring comfort to children from Zarzir whose homes and families were impacted by the war.

Thanks to the generosity of The Joseph Project and the beautiful initiative of 12-year-old Arava Doron, who launched “A Friend’s Trend” to bless these children with gifts, the care packages were expanded and thoughtfully personalized for each child’s age, language, gender, and emotional needs.

The gifts were packed with the help of individuals from sheltered mental health workshops, turning this project into a powerful expression of compassion from every side. Then, in the middle of it all, between sirens and packing tables, the President of Israel and his wife arrived to take part and hear about the impact your support was making. 🇮🇱

Thank you for helping bring moments of joy, dignity, and healing to children carrying the weight of war. 🙏

Last week, we had the privilege of visiting freed hostage Helena Troufanov and helping her settle into her new apartment for the very first time.

JPI came alongside her with practical aid and household essentials to help make this new place feel like home.

During the war, families spent weeks in shelters and underground parking garages.

The Emergency Container Initiative made sure they weren't empty-handed: blankets, pillows, mattresses, toys for the kids.

Now we are refilling these containers. We need to be ready for next time.

The residents of Hadar in Haifa, found themselves sheltering in public spaces and underground parking garages with very little.

Thanks to JPI's Emergency Container Program and our wonderful partners at Orr b'Aretz, we were able to bring them mattresses, chairs, blankets, hygiene kits, toys, games, and more.

Keren and Livnat, Haifa Municipality representatives in Israel, worked tirelessly to support residents. Through JPI's Emergency Container Program, our partners at Orr b'Aretz were among the first on the ground, delivering mattresses, blankets, hygiene kits, toys, and more to those in need.

Even with a ceasefire, the impact is still very real.

Our team is in Haifa, a city that faced heavy attacks, visiting places where we were able to help. In one park, what used to be a simple public fountain became a shield. When an Iranian missile hit, it absorbed much of the blast and helped protect the people nearby.

Thank you for standing with us as we continue to show up for communities across Israel.

Naomi is trying to rebuild her life after years of hardship. With her children no longer in her care and ongoing struggles with stability, each day is a step forward, even when it feels small.

When she was pregnant last year, we walked alongside her through uncertainty and loss. Even now, as she searches for work and lives on a minimal allowance, the challenges continue.

Because of your generosity, The Joseph Project was able to provide Naomi with a wardrobe and a heater for her apartment, simple things that bring warmth, dignity, and a sense of stability in a very fragile season.

Your support meets people right where they are, when they need it most. 🙏
