My name is Sara Shpitzer and I live Scheinfeld
In recent months, I have had the privilege of being a partner in the “Yad LaGiborim” project – a unique initiative that supports families of war-wounded soldiers in the Beit Shemesh area and its surroundings.
I meet heroic women who are coping on multiple fronts: supporting their wounded husband or son who is hospitalized or undergoing rehabilitation, while also managing all the responsibilities related to their children and home. They are the true heroines who often fall between the cracks and are in need of support, breathing space, calm, and respite.
I have taken upon myself to raise 30,000 NIS for this meaningful initiative, which provides weekly group support, a pampering meal, diverse art and creative workshops, respite days, and above all, an emotional space for connection among women who share similar experiences.
