A BEAUTIFUL SUKKOT GIFT ❤️🌿

A heartfelt thank you to Chesed Ve’Emet, a nonprofit organization from France, for their generous donation of 50 sets of the Four Species (Arba Minim) for orphans in Israel.

Thanks to their kindness, these children can celebrate Sukkot and take part in this special mitzvah with their own set. 💚

We are grateful to Chesed Ve’Emet for helping make the holiday more meaningful and joyful for children who deserve to celebrate just like everyone else.

Thank you for helping bring the spirit of Sukkot to these children!🌿❤️

HE CARRIED HIS SCHOOLBOOKS IN A PLASTIC BAG.

Long before Chasdei Naomi became the organization it is today, there was a young boy named Yosef Cohen who knew what it meant to grow up with very little.

His schoolbooks were carried in a simple plastic bag. His lunch was just an apple and a slice of bread. At home, food had to be carefully rationed so it would last.

Years later, while driving his bus, Yosef saw another young boy carrying his schoolbooks in a plastic bag.

In that moment, his own childhood came rushing back.

That moment would change everything.

This is Part 1 of the story of Rabbi Yosef Cohen, founder of Chasdei Naomi, a story of hardship, compassion, and one decision that would go on to help countless families in need.

❤️ Follow us for Part 2.

Rosh Hashanah may have already passed, but the need does not end when the holiday does.
There are still elderly people, Holocaust survivors, and families across Israel who struggle to afford the food and necessities they need throughout the year.

At Beit Gil Hazahav in Beit Shemesh, Chasdei Naomi was able to bring warmth and joy to residents during Rosh Hashanah through a hot holiday meal, traditional holiday foods, and a simple but meaningful reminder that they had not been forgotten.

Because sometimes the greatest gift is not something that can be placed in a bag.

It is the feeling of being cared for, respected, and remembered.

Behind every meal and every package distributed by Chasdei Naomi is a simple belief:

Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, and no one should have to feel alone.

IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO HELP
Rosh Hashanah may be over, but Chasdei Naomi’s work continues all year long.

Your support can help provide food and essential assistance to elderly people, Holocaust survivors, and families facing hardship across Israel.
