The Lugmo Challenge is an annual winter hiking challenge.

Hiking Time! 🥾🥾🥾🥾⛰️

Heading up Lugnaquilla this Sunday morning at 9am if anyone would like to join. It’s a medium to hard level hike of about 5 hours. (All details will be sent by p.m).

The hike is limited to 20 people only. If it’s over 20 we will do a draw for a place and contact you by private message.

EARLY BIRDS…..
We are going for an early morning sunrise hike well it’s Ireland so it’s more likely a lack of sunrise…😂

Monday morning at the craic of dawn we will be meeting at 5:45am (leaving at 6am) to do a 3 hour hike in west Wicklow mountains. Down for 9am and head for a nice coffee and breakfast in Hollywood.

We took a little break over Christmas and New years after a very busy end to 2025 with our annual Lugmo Challenge event.

We will be back very soon with lots of plans for 2026…

First up will be our community’s fav:

Monday Mountains.
A 2/3hr hike on a Monday evening in West Wicklow.
Start the week off right! We will be adding dates in the next week or two so stay tuned!

The Lugmo Hiking community has done it again!!

An incredible €30,415 raised to help build a permanent base for the amazing people

Many thanks to everyone who took part this year.
A tough 25km hike through wind rain and snow!
All those who liked, shared, commented, fundraised, donated, ran mini events some even hiked through Glendalough shaking buckets! Amazing and THANK YOU!
To all the amazing companies that helped out we really appreciate the support!
