🌸🌿 Gardening at the Parish Centre! 🌿🌸

What a HUGE job, but what an AMAZING achievement! 💪🌼👏

As part of our Rangers’ and Leader Emma’s Gaisce Environmental Project, we have been working hard to give the Parish Centre gardens some much-needed TLC! 🌷🪴💚

After lots of weeding, digging, hard work and even a bit of rain ☔️💪, we finally got our mulch supplied and have now spread it across the garden beds! 🌱🎉 Now it’s time to let everything settle and grow for a little while! 🌻🌿

We are SO, SO proud of our incredible Rangers and leaders! ❤️👏 This was no small task, and the amount of effort, teamwork and determination everyone put in was absolutely fantastic! 🌟💚

A very special thank you to our wonderful Leader Fiona, who has been there every single step of the way! ❤️🌸 Always ready to roll up her sleeves, lend a hand and do absolutely anything that needed doing. Fiona has been an incredible support throughout this entire project, and we genuinely couldn’t have done it without her! 🥰💪 Thank you so, so much, Fiona! 💚👏

A HUGE thank you to Paddy for lending a helping hand too! We really appreciate all your help! 🥰👏

And of course, we couldn’t forget our little four-legged mascot, Bilbo! 🐶🐾💚 He’s been there every step of the way, keeping everyone company and supervising all the hard work! He even joined us on our Gaise hike! 🥾⛰️🐕 A very dedicated little member of the team! ❤️🐾

What a fantastic team effort! We couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved, and we can’t wait to see how the gardens look over the coming months! 🌸🌻🌿

💙💛 Wicklow Town Guide Group – Registration Night! 💛💙

We’re delighted to be getting ready for another exciting year of Guiding! ⚜️✨

📅 Registration Night: Tuesday, 8th September
⏰ 6:00–7:00pm
📍 De La Salle Parish Centre, Wicklow Town

Please note that this evening is for registration only – there will be no Guide meetings on the night.

Our weekly meetings will officially resume on Tuesday, 15th September. 💙

We are so excited to welcome all of our girls back for another year of friendship, fun, adventure, learning and plenty of laughs! 🏕️🎨🔥

🌟 NEW MEMBERS ARE VERY WELCOME! 🌟
We welcome girls aged 5–15 years and would love to see some new faces joining our Guiding family this year.

⚜️ Once a Guide, always a Guide.

What a wonderful year it has been for Buíon Muire Lourdes! ✨

The 2025–2026 Guiding year has been an incredibly special one for our group, filled with celebrations, adventures, friendship and so many happy memories.

We began the year by celebrating an amazing milestone — 65 years of Girl Guides in Wicklow Town! 🎉

This very special occasion was marked with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Bishop Donal Roche, followed by a wonderful celebration in our meeting hall. It was lovely to bring together members of our Guiding community, past and present, to celebrate 65 incredible years of Guiding in Wicklow Town. 💙

Throughout the year, our girls have enjoyed countless Tuesday evenings filled with arts and crafts, games, campfires, cooking, dancing, dressing up and, of course, plenty of laughter! 🏕️🎨🔥

We’ve also had some fantastic adventures outside our meeting hall, with trips to the library, the zoo, the fire station and Golly Fishing, along with lots of other special moments along the way.

Most importantly, this year has been about friendship, fun, learning, confidence and making memories together. We are incredibly proud of all our girls and the enthusiasm, kindness and wonderful Guiding spirit they bring to our group each week. 💕

As we get ready to begin another Guiding year, we are so excited to see what the next chapter brings and to continue a tradition that has been such a special part of Wicklow Town for over 65 years.

Here’s to many more adventures and memories together! 💙💛

🌸🐝 A HUGE well done to our amazing Rangers and their leaders! 🦋🌿

We are so incredibly proud of our Rangers and leaders for all their hard work in creating this beautiful environmental garden. Big thank you as well to Debbie and Joe getting us through the last hurdle! Every plant has been carefully chosen to be pollinator-friendly, helping to support our local bees, butterflies and other wildlife. 🐝🦋🌼

This garden forms part of our Rangers’ Gaisce Bronze and Oisín Award projects, as well as being part of our leader Emma’s Gaisce Gold project. 💛

There has been a huge amount of hard work involved — plenty of digging, planting, watering and definitely a few sore muscles along the way! 😂 But the dedication these girls have shown to their projects and to our Guide company has been absolutely incredible.

We are so lucky to have such a fantastic group of Rangers. They are kind, hardworking, dedicated and wonderful role models for our younger girls, and we could not be prouder of everything they have achieved. 💚

The garden is something that can now be enjoyed by our whole community, while also giving a little something back to our local wildlife. 🌱

Well done, girls — what an achievement! We can’t wait to see what you bring to the year ahead. 💐🐝🦋

We are so incredibly proud of our Ranger group for completing their Gaisce & Oisín Award hike! 💙🖤🥾

Over the last two days, these amazing girls completed an incredible 25km hike – and what an achievement it has been! 👏

These girls are nothing but kind, generous, dedicated and determined. They have given so much to our Girl Guides group, committed themselves fully to their Gaisce journey, and continued to push themselves every step of the way. They are absolutely fantastic role models for the younger girls in our unit, and we genuinely couldn’t be prouder of them. 💙

This is also a very special milestone for us as they are our first Ranger group to take on the Gaisce Award! 🌟

Well done, girls – you should be so proud of yourselves. We’re almost there! Just a few final steps to complete over the next few weeks, and then it will be Bronze Gaisce completed… and onwards to Silver! 🥉➡️🥈

🌞🦒🐘 What an AMAZING day we had on Saturday at National Day with our Guide Unit! 💙💛

Our girls had the BEST time exploring Dublin Zoo 🐵🦓🦁 and we were so lucky with the fantastic weather too! ☀️🌈

A huge THANK YOU to all the parents who helped out and made the day run so smoothly 🙌💐 We really appreciate all your support! 💖

It was truly an incredible day filled with fun, laughter, friendship and memories made 🥰✨

Tonight our girls celebrated Colour Day 🌈

With International Colour Day (March 21st) just this week, it was the perfect excuse to bring all the colour and fun!

We played games, got creative with colouring, and our Guides even performed a choreographed colour dance 💃✨

Of course, everyone dressed up in bright, bold colours, and the vibes were amazing from start to finish! 💛💙❤️💚
