It's time for our annual kids art competition. This year's theme is "Water". Last year was a great success and we are really looking forward to this years exhibition in Shillelagh Courthouse. We will contact local primary schools with details of the competition. Entries will be collected from schools on Novemer 5th 2025. Please make sure to write your child's name on the back of the picture. There are lots of prizes to be won.

The exhibition will be held in Shillelagh Courthouse from the 14th to the 16th of November 2025.
Friday 14th Oct: Prizegiving will be at 18:00
Saturday & Sunday 15th & 16th Oct: All entries will be exhibited from 10:00 to 16:00.
All are welcome to the event.

Get snapping and enter Protect Moylisha Hill's Annual Photography Competition.
Last year was a great success and we are really looking forward to this years exhibition in Shillelagh Courthouse.

This years Photography Competition is for the Over 12's and Adults. This years theme is 'Water'. Please send your entries to [email protected] by Wednesday 5th November.

Special thanks to Trish Murphy whose fabulous photograph won the adults competition last year. We are delighted to feature it on this years poster.

There are lots of prizes to be won so please get snapping!
1st prize: €100
2nd prize: €50

For Heritage Week 2025, why not join us for a walk in the woods on Moylisha Hill and learn to identify and use the many herbs found there.
The talk will be led by Medical Herbalist Anthony McNulty.
Soup and sandwiches will be provided afterwards.
