🚨🚨BREAKING : Captain Paul Watson Launches
OPERATION 86 to END Icelandic Whaling!🚨🚨

In 1986, Captain Paul Watson’s crew sank half of the Icelandic whaling fleet in Reykjavik Harbor. Nearly 40 years later... we’re going back!

Our ship is undergoing final preparations for
OPERATION 86, in recognition of the 40th anniversary of this victorious occasion. OPERATION 86 is our new mission to confront Iceland’s last commercial whaler, Kristján Loftsson, and his company Hvalur hf, once and for all.

Since 2018, CPWF UK has fought to expose and end whaling in Iceland. Now, The Bandero is sailing into harm’s way to stop the senseless slaughter of fin whales.

Loftsson’s harpoons have killed thousands of whales.
But whaling quotas are shrinking. Public outrage is growing. And we are not backing down!

“I’ve been saving whales for as long as Loftsson has been killing them. As relentless as he is in killing, 1 am just as passionately relentless in protecting whales.
What we began in 1986, we intend to end in 2026.” - Captain Paul Watson

OPERATION 86 HAS BEGUN!👊

This is the final chapter in a battle that has lasted generations. Help us end Icelandic whaling forever.

Kristjaan Loftsson, 83, An Entire Life Dedicated to Killing Whales🚨

Loftsson began killing whales at the age of 13, he later followed in his father’s bloody footsteps and took over Hvalur hf in 1974. Since then, the company has reportedly killed thousands of whales.

This year alone, he could kill up to 150 vulnerable fin whales, the second largest animals on Earth. They were driven to the brink of extinction by industrial whaling and are still listed as vulnerable. Yet Iceland’s last whaler continues to hunt them for profit.

It is not tradition when one billionaire is keeping it alive!

Captain Paul Watson Direct Action in Antarctica Leads To EU Parliament Call for 5 Year Suspension on Krill Fishing 🚨

For the first time in history, the Captain Paul Watson Foundation took direct action in Antarctica to confront krill trawlers head-on.

We didn’t wait.
We didn’t debate.
We didn’t just take photos.
We ACTED!

On the frontlines of one of the most remote and dangerous places on Earth, we put ourselves in harm’s way to defend the foundation of Antarctic life.

Weeks later, the world responded.

On 29 April, the European Parliament proposed a five-year moratorium on krill fisheries in the Southern Ocean.

Lawmakers raised alarm over the rapid expansion of industrial krill fishing, and the growing threat it poses to one of the most fragile ecosystems on Earth.

This is exactly why we acted.

While governments delay, ecosystems collapse. This vote signals a shift: the current path is unsustainable.
Precaution must come before exploitation.

Krill is not a commodity it is the foundation of life in Antarctica.
Whales, seals and penguins all rely on krill to survive.
Remove krill... and everything begins to fall apart.

We welcome this moratorium as a critical step.
But it is not enough. It must lead to a permanent end to industrial krill fishing.

We helped end whaling in Antarctica.
And we will END krill trawling in this fragile region.

When Governments Fail To Act, We, The People Must!

Timmy, the whale which was left to die on a sandbar in Poele is now on its way to the Atlantic.

The whale was stranded. Time was critical. Help was possible!

But instead of action, there was delay. Meetings.
Assessments. Waiting.

“I have decided to let this majestic animal pass away peacefully.”
- Till Backhaus

A decision to do nothing... while a living being suffered.
But the people of Germany refused to accept that.

They stepped in.
Not because it was easy.
Not because success was guaranteed.
But because trying mattered.

This rescue should have happened sooner.
It may already be too late.

But Timmy is no longer alone.

In these final moments, whether they end in survival or not, there is something more powerful:

Proof that when institutions hesitate, humanity doesn’t have to.

We stand with those who chose action. When faced with life or death, no matter how small the chance we must try! We hope, against the odds, to see Timmy swim free again.

🚨 ANTARCTIC EMPEROR PENGUINS NOW CRITICALLY ENDANGERED! LET’S CONNECT THE DOTS

Antarctic emperor penguins are now officially listed as endangered. A devastating warning from the frontlines of habitat collapse. This crisis is bigger than melting ice.

While climate change destroys their breeding grounds...
Industrial krill fishing is stripping Antarctica of its food source.

Krill are the foundation of Antarctic life.
They feed:

Whales
Penguins
Seals
Countless marine species

And now the entire food web is beginning to crack. The emperor penguin’s decline is not an isolated tragedy, it is a warning siren for the collapse of an entire ecosystem.

Save the krill.
Save the Antarctic.
Save what remains before it’s too late.

🚨BREAKING NEWS : Falklands Deny Captain Paul Watson Foundation Entry Following Aker Action.

Political Pressure Mounts as Ocean Defenders Are Blocked! The Falkland Islands Government has refused entry to the Captain Paul Watson Foundation vessel Bandero, denying fuel, provisions, and crew relief after direct action against Aker Qrill, the world’s largest krill harvester.

No review. No hearing. Just a decision that sides with industrial krill destruction over the survival of whales, penguins, seals, and seabirds.

💥 Non-violent direct action taken against Aker Qrill
🛑 Bandero denied access to Falklands
🚫 No opportunity given to present our case
🐋 Krill being stripped from the ocean at record scale

We request access to port for provisions, fuel, and crew relief. This request is directed to the Falklands Governor, the British Government and to His Majesty King Charles III.
