Myrtleville Coastal Action Group

Myrtleville Coastal Action Group Voluntary Community Group Myrtleville Coastal Action Group have formed to oversee the rejuvenation of the Myrtleville area.

In association with SECAD, we will be getting a person to work for 19.5 hours each week. Our aim is to keep the beach and surrounding area a litter free zone, ensure our verges are kept tidy, and with time and additional volunteers where necessary enhance our beach front.

Meeting this evening in the Rugby Club at 8 for anyone that is interested in being involved in the Myrtleville tidy towns group( new name to be decided), either as a committee member or as an enthusiastic occasional helping out person. All welcome

Seeking enthusiastic Myrtlevillians to start a new community volunteer group. This has been done a number of times before, but the old timers have run out of steam!!
Are you interested in setting up a committee to secure funding(available soon) to help the Myrtleville area.
Liase with the council for speed signs, parking solutions, road issues.
Be creative with the beach gardens, get the showers fixed.
Maintain the paths..
The list goes on, but many hands make light work.
Would someone(not me!) like to start the ball rolling with this as it would be a shame to miss this year's council community funding.
