It’s time to set the alarms and be part of something special this Saturday. Together as a community, we can turn Darkness Into Light for those who need it most. 💛

🅿️ We recommend arriving at 3:45am to ensure sufficient time for parking. Parking will be available in Whitegate GAA field, with stewards assisting on the morning. Please note parking on the main street is NOT permitted for health and safety reasons.

💛 Just 8 days to go folks!

Time to dig out those bright yellow t-shirts for one of the most magical mornings of the year. Darkness Into Light is all about hope and connection as communities all over the world come together. The DIL walk is a reminder to us all that no matter how tough things get, light always finds a way through. 🌅

Whether you’ve taken part before or it’s your first time getting involved, we invite you to come and join us in Whitegate for a 5k loop on the edge of Lough Derg! 🩵

Registrations are flying up and we’re buzzing to see everyone soon! If you’re walking elsewhere in the country or in another corner of the world we’d love to see your pictures - be sure to tag us. In previous years we’ve seen snaps from Spain to Sydney and many beautiful spots in between! 🌍

DIL WHITEGATE 2024 Fundraiser Result! 🌟

We’re thrilled to share that, thanks to your incredible generosity through registrations and donations, we raised an amazing €6,957.41! 🙌

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported Darkness Into Light in our small East Clare village. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to the journey, we invite you to join us this year.

Our 5k loop along the edge of Lough Derg offers a stunning start to the day - walking together from darkness into light. Afterwards, warm up with a hot cuppa back at the GAA field and take in the sense of hope and community that makes this event so special.
