With the summer holidays just around the corner, we thought it was only right to treat the girls to a fun summer outing! ☀️💛

We hopped on the bus and headed to Gorey for a lovely day together. Our first stop was the Bookshop Café, where we enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee and a little sweet treat to fuel us for what came next… plenty of shopping! 🛍️☕🍰

After everyone had enjoyed browsing the shops and picking up a few goodies, we finished off our day with a delicious lunch in Katie Daly’s.

It was such a fantastic day out, full of smiles, laughter, and making wonderful memories together. To top it all off, the weather was absolutely beautiful! 🌞💖

A huge thank you to Niall from Tennis Ireland for so kindly recommending both Jenna and Andrew to the Wexford Harbour Boat & Tennis Club for a complimentary one-year membership.

We are incredibly grateful for this amazing opportunity. Jenna and Andrew now have full use of all the fantastic facilities, including the tennis courts, bar, showers, lockers, pool and ping pong tables, and even the vending machine!

Your kindness and support mean so much, and opportunities like this make a real difference. Thank you, Niall, and thank you to everyone at Wexford Harbour Boat & Tennis Club for such a warm welcome. We can’t wait to make the most of the year ahead! 🎾💙

A huge thank you to the wonderful Stacey Breen for once again volunteering her time to come in and treat us all to a beautiful sing-song. 🎶❤️

Stacey had everyone in great spirits, with plenty of smiles, laughter, and even a few dance moves on the floor! It was fantastic to see everyone joining in, and a special thank you to Mary, Donal, Sam, and Elaine, who bravely got up and sang a song for us all.

Stacey, your kindness, generosity, and willingness to give your time mean so much to everyone here. Thank you for bringing so much joy and creating such a wonderful atmosphere. We truly appreciate everything you do and always look forward to seeing you again!

🎳 As part of our Community Profiling Programme, we enjoyed a fantastic day out at Leisure Max for a fun-filled game of bowling! There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition along the way.

To round off a great day, we headed to McDonald’s for a lovely lunch together, giving everyone the chance to relax, chat, and enjoy each other’s company.

Days like these are a wonderful way to build confidence, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories within our community. 💙🍔🎳

📸 We finally got around to getting a photo of our amazing athletes who represented us at the Ireland Games last month—and what an incredible group they are! 🏅👏

We’re unfortunately missing three of our medal winners who weren’t here for the photo, but we couldn’t wait any longer to celebrate everyone’s fantastic achievement.

We are so proud of each and every one of our competitors. To come home with medals across the team is an outstanding accomplishment and a true reflection of all the hard work, determination, and team spirit they showed throughout the games.

📖 Monica’s knowledge and insight brought the history of Selskar to life, and our service users thoroughly enjoyed learning all about it. 😊

🏀⚽ Today we teamed up with some of the service users from Windmill for a fun-filled morning of friendly basketball and football games at St. Joseph’s.

It was such a great experience! We really enjoyed meeting everyone, having the chance to play sports together, and seeing so much teamwork, laughter, and encouragement throughout the day.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make it such an enjoyable day. We can’t wait to do it again! 💙
