3 days to go until Pride Inside 2026! We are revving up for the big day! 🥳🏳️‍🌈❤️

Here is the timetable for our Pride Inside Performers! You are welcome to dip in and out of the performance hall and avail of our Quiet Space as needed, located at the back of the Wexford Arts Centre away from the main stage 🎵

NeuroPride are happy to be returning to helping with Pride celebrations - we will also be returning to online and in person meet ups (keep an eye on our community page for details)

Find us on Saturday, 30th May, at the Wexford Pride 'Pride Inside' in Wexford Arts Centre at our "quiet-er zone". Need a sensory break during Pride?

The Neuro Pride co-ordinators Gillian & Nem will be manning the Neuro-affirmative space.

So if you would like a space to take a break, chill and connect with your neuro-clann come and find us.

👥️️ The space will be open to any and all who would like a safe space to chill while still being part of the festivities, whether ND or allies. Please note it will be an outside space with cover available.

♾️ We particularly want to extend a warm welcome to Neurodivergent folks, people who think they might be Neurodivergent, and their families/support people. No diagnosis needed.

🧸 For your comfort, we will have beanbags, ear defenders, art supplies and fidget toys available to borrow.

🚫 There is no pressure at a NPI event
🔵 Feel free to arrive, leave, take a break at any time!
🟣 You do not need to use mouth words to communicate with us.
⚪️ Bring along comfort or accessibility items

🚦 We will provide name stickers using the traffic light system:
🟩 Green = I am happy to talk
🟨 Yellow = I prefer to initiate conversation
🟥 Red = I prefer not to interact
🟤 You are invited but not obligated to write your name and/or pronouns on the stickers

❗ Please note: We will be situated away from main vendor/stage area however this is a festival with performances, so some noise is inevitable. But we hope you will enjoy spending some time with us and leave our 'quiet-er zone' recharged and refreshed.

✊ 🏳️‍🌈 Pride at it's heart is a movement and honours the activists who fought for the rights the community holds today, while recognizing that progress has not reached everyone equally. The same systems that marginalize LGBTQIA+ people also harm people of colour, disabled people, low-income families, and immigrants. That is why this year’s event intentionally platforms organisations working across these struggles.

Community organisations joining us on the day include Neuro Pride Ireland, CATU South Wicklow-Wexford, Wexford DPO - Disabled Persons' Organisation, Dublin LGBTQ Pride / Pride At Work, Trans Healthcare Action, ARC Family Resource Centre, Southend Family Resource Centre, Gorey Family Resource Centre, South West Wexford Family Resource Centre and Tusla Fostering.

The Frederick Douglass Civil Rights Festival would like to circulate a remembrance vigil for Yves Sakila, happening this Sunday 24th May in Wexford Town.

It is organised by Wexford locals collaborating across community movements.

Yves was murdered on a Dublin Street by heavy handed security men to whom his life appeared not to matter.

Please circulate widely. Messages of solidarity are welcome.
