Wexford R**e Crisis Centre is a support service offering counselling to women, men and young people aged 12 and over who have experienced, r**e, sexual assault, past childhood sexual abuse or any kind of sexual trauma in their lives. Wexford R**e Crisis (WEXRC):
Adult & Adolescent Psychotherapist Contracts

WEXRC is a service offering counselling to women, men and young people (12 years upwards) who have been affected in any way by Domestic, Sexual or Gender-based violence. In addition, we offer support counselling to a partner, family member or friend who is supporting the person who has been abused.

WEXRC requires panel counsellors on short/medium and longer-term contracts, depending on the demand for services.

Candidates must possess:
• An accredited qualification in counselling/psychotherapy, minimum Diploma level, recognised by the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) or Irish Association for Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) or equivalent accrediting body.
• A minimum of 2 years of counselling experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, report-writing and data entry.

It would be advantageous to have:
• Experience of providing one-to-one counselling to young people aged 12 and upwards.
• Experience in providing Parental Support.

Wexford R**e Crisis Finance Administration Support Worker Vacancy

Wexford R**e Crisis is a service offering counselling to women, men and young people (12 years +) who have experienced any type of domestic, sexual, or gender-based violence.

Support counselling is also available to a partner, family member or friend who is supporting the person who has been abused. Finance Administration: We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to provide finance support and administration to our Finance Officer.

Candidates must possess:
• Knowledge of financial accounting, balancing of income & expenditure accounts, preparation of monthly/yearly finances. QQI level 5 bookkeeping, ATI Year 1 or similar is essential.
• Working Knowledge of SAGE or similar accounting software is essential
• A working knowledge of computer packages to include Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) as well as filing, report writing and secretarial duties. ECDL qualification or similar is desirable.
• A minimum of 2 year’s post-qualification experience.
• A flexible approach and an ability to handle a varied workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well under own initiative.
• Knowledge of professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Remuneration:
In line with experience Hours: 14 hours/2 days per week.

A message from all of us at Wexford R**e Crisis Centre 🌸💛

We are still speechless.

The Midsummer Ladies Lunch on Sunday 7th June raised an incredible €34,350 – more than double last year's total – and we want to say, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

To the organisers – thank you for your tireless work, your passion, and your belief in what we do. This event would not exist without you.

To the sponsors – your generosity made this day possible. Every business that said yes helped us say yes to survivors who need us.

To the guests – thank you to every guest who laughed, clinked glasses, bought raffle tickets, and filled the room with warmth. You showed up for us in the most beautiful way.

And to those who donated from near and far – whether you could be with us on the day or not – your support means the world. You believed in this cause, and you showed up in the most meaningful way. Thank you.

€34,350 means more counselling hours. More survivors reached. More survivors finding their way back to hope.
