💜 LET'S TALK ABOUT INCLUSION AT CAN. 💛
What does it really mean to create a space where every child belongs?
At Cottage Autism Network, we want our activities to be a place where children don't have to hide their differences, where parents don't have to feel embarrassed when things don't go to plan, and where nobody has to wonder whether their child is too different to belong.
Because no child should have to change who they are to make others comfortable. And no family should feel like they have to earn their place in our community.
But inclusion is about more than simply being welcome. It's about how we treat one another.
As our community grows, we all have a responsibility to approach differences with an open mind, a kind heart and a willingness to understand. We might not always understand someone else's experiences, but we can always choose kindness and respect.
True inclusion starts with each of us. It starts with you. It starts with us.
Together, we CAN.
