Tara Hill Community Fun Day 2026 — Another Cracker! 🎉

That’s a wrap on this year’s Tara Hill Community Fun Day, and what a day it was!
From the moment the gates opened, the field was buzzing.

It’s easy to forget how good it feels to just stop, sit in a field, and catch up with your neighbours. Life moves fast, and days like this, where the kids run wild and the adults get a proper chat, don’t happen by accident. They happen because a community decides they matter and puts in the work to make them happen.

A huge thank you to:
• Everyone who came along and made the day what it was
• Our volunteers, who gave their time to set up, run the stalls, and keep it all going
• Our generous sponsors, without whom none of this would be possible, see the full list at tarahill.org

🚨 Save the Date 🚨

Mark your calendars, we’ll be back in the field on Sunday, August 15th, 2027 for next year’s Community Fun Day.

Thank you, Tara Hill. See you all again next year!

We’re In Full Swing! 🎉

Tara Hill Community Fun Day is well underway and the atmosphere is fantastic! Live music, great chats, and plenty of happy faces (and dogs!) enjoying the sunshine on the hay bales.

The field is filling up nicely - come on down and join the fun, there’s plenty more to see and do!

🎪 The calm before the storm! 🎪

Take a look at our field this afternoon, quiet for now, but not for long! From 9am tomorrow the field comes alive: games, a yoga tent, craft stalls, food stalls, an art space, a vintage show, plus visits from the fire brigade and coast guard, all going up and gearing up ready for the big day.

We’re also bringing along our raffle prizes (there are so many!) plus loads of prizes for the kids 🎁, and don’t miss our dog show 🐾

Gates open and the fun kicks off at 12:30pm, come along for a great day out with the whole community, and help us raise funds to progress our local amenities while you’re at it. 🙌

See you there! 💙

The Preparations Continue! 🛠️

Our fantastic volunteers were out in the field until 9pm last night getting the ground ready for Sunday’s big day!

The marquee is currently being installed, and more volunteers are heading down again this evening to keep progressing the build. It really does take a village (or in our case, a whole community!) to pull this event together.

Huge thanks to everyone giving up their evenings to help make this happen - your hard work does not go unnoticed! 🙌

Not long now until it all comes together for Sunday, August 16th!
