STITCH it to the man - Café Sessions at Kinfolk. Sunday 8 Nov, 12-2pm.

Join us in creating an afternoon of craftivism. Bring your project, start a new one and come together to knit, stitch and talk.

Groups like these were involved in reclaiming women’s domestic work in feminist circles through the years. Did you know Stitch 'n B*tch is a name used to refer to social knitting groups since World War ll? Come learn more on the day.

Some updates and some asks from you, as we support our member.

Tina has been fighting to retrieve her belongings after a change of landlords has left her items disposed of, while she was in London caring for sick family.

The new owner of the house, Damien Flood of John Flood's Menswear, have ignored repeated requests for a full inventory, photographs, and answers about what was salvaged and what was shamefully thrown away.

Thankfully through some pressure, Tina has been shown what remains. We are now arranging for those items to be moved to a storage unit and the cost of delivery must be covered by the landlord who has disposed and moved Tina's very personal belongings without her consent.

Our demands are now:

- Full written inventory of what was salvaged
- Photographs of the items and their condition
- Compensation for what was lost
- The landlord covers all delivery and storage costs

Tina has made it clear she wants accountability and once the remaining items are recovered and stored, we will keep the pressure.on. No landlord should think they can do this to a tenant and get away with it.

We kindly ask our members and Tina's supporters to
→ write your frustrations to Flood's Menswear in Wicklow Town and Arklow through Google Reviews
→ stay on standby as we prepare another action this Friday (30/10/2026).

We are getting there, but this is why there is power in a Union, when even one person's issue and housing is at stake.
