Lord God, You called Pope John Paul I to serve Your Church with joy and humility.
On this anniversary of his election, we thank You for the witness of his smile, his kindness, and his faith.
May his example inspire us to live with simplicity, hope, and love.

Lovely to be at Knock Shrine the last few nights and tonight for the last night of the annual novena and to commemorate the anniversary of the apparition

‘Hope’ was the key word for all speakers this year at the Novena and here at St. Mary’s Youth , we are very much looking forward with hope to a wonderful new season very soon.

Our Lady of Knock , Pray for Us 🙏🏻

‘You gave hope to your people in a time of distress, and comforted them in sorrow…’

Today is a very special day here in Knock as we celebrate the anniversary of the Apparition, when the ordinary people of this village were blessed to witness something truly extraordinary.

We give thanks for their faith and for the countless pilgrims who, through the generations, have journeyed here in prayer, hope and devotion.

We remember with love and gratitude our deceased parishioners, family members and pilgrims, who have been part of this sacred place and who have now gone before us. We also remember those who worked tirelessly to care for Knock and to hand on its story of faith to future generations. May they rest in the peace.

On this special day, we ask Our Lady of Knock to watch over us, our families, and all who come to this sacred place seeking comfort and hope.
