Westport local 5 a-side Competition

Hi all.
Unfortunately, we have been unable to get enough teams to take part in the 5 a side competition, so we have been left with no choice but to cancel next weekend. We are going to sit down and look at some other way of trying to get it up and running. Apologies for this, but there is no point in running it without the correct number of teams in it. Apologies for the short notice, but we gave it every chance to see if we could get the entries.

Closing Date for Entry's is this Friday, the 18th of October at 5pm.
We currently have 9 teams, we need a minimum of 12 teams to run the Competition. So if you are thinking of entering please contact us ASAP.

We have our first 8 teams entered in to the Competition. Remember we are capping it at 16 teams. So if you are thinking of entering get in contact with us soon.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we'll have to delay the start of the competition. There has been a delay in the completion of work at the new astro pitches. Once we have a completion date, we will issue a new date for the start of the competition. Apologies on behalf of the committee.

We have had a few queries of lads looking to play on a team. So, if you are short a player for your team, please get in contact with the page and we can put you in contact with each other. Also, if we get enough players looking to play that don't have a team we will make up a team from those lads.
We are down to 4 slots left, so as previously stated, once we have 16 teams it's full.
