This October, we are delighted to welcome Ian Sazerac Doogue from Sazerac to the Waterford Wh***ey Society for a very special evening dedicated to American wh***ey!
Sazerac is one of the world's major spirits companies, with a rich heritage dating back to 1850. Its portfolio includes some of the most recognised names in American wh***ey, including Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare and the legendary George T. Stagg.

Ian will guide us through an exciting lineup showcasing the diversity of the Sazerac portfolio, from classic rye wh***ey to some of the most sought-after releases in American bourbon. This promises to be a fantastic opportunity to explore these iconic wh***eys and learn more about the stories behind them.

This September, we are delighted to welcome Alan Malone and Two Shores Irish Rum for their very first appearance with the Waterford Wh***ey Society.
They’ll be bringing an outstanding lineup of six Two Shores rums for what promises to be a fantastic evening.

Rum might be a little different from what we normally taste, but there are some very interesting similarities to wh***ey — especially when it comes to cask finishes, maturation and the influence of different types of wood. We think this will make for a really interesting and enjoyable tasting.

We are delighted to welcome Nick Wiehe and Gary McLoughlin, owners of Cobblestone Brands, for a special Knappogue Castle Irish Single Malt Tasting & Masterclass on Tuesday, June 30th at The Cove Bar and via Zoom.

On the night, Nick and Gary will guide us through an exceptional line-up featuring:

This week, we hosted a fantastic Japanese Nikka Wh**ky Portfolio Tasting and Masterclass with Raphael Cristini, Nikka’s European Brand Ambassador, at our new venue, The Mansion House Bar, as well as online via Zoom.

It was a brilliant evening—fascinating to dive into the history of Japanese wh**ky while tasting such a quality lineup. A big thank you to Raphael for an engaging and insightful presentation, and to all our members who joined us on the night.

We are delighted to announce a Japanese Nikka Wh**ky Portfolio Tasting and Masterclass with Raphael Cristini, Nikka Ambassador for Europe, hosted by the Waterford Wh***ey Society at our new venue, The Mansion House Bar, and via Zoom.
