The spirit of the Ballybeg Community Project is to reach out to all in the community, to encourage people to believe in their own uniqueness, dignity, equality and the potential within themselves, their families and their community. h separate independent companies that share the Community Campus with the CDP and Cill Barra Sports & Recreation Centre. Currently the CDP manages a range of projects including:

In addition programmes relating to health & well being, men's groups, women's groups, local events, festivals and volunteer training programmes are run by the project. The project is involved in development work and so engages with others in campaigns to change local and national policy with regard to issues that impact on the lives of those in the community.
