Appeal

We are very low on non perishable food if anyone can help please. Items needed are, toiletries, cereal, pot noodles, tuna, pasta sauces, tinned fruit, creamed rice, hot cups, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, Donations can be dropped to 28A mary street Monday to Friday 6.30pm to 8pm.

Very busy night tonight. 40 dinners given out. Meatballs on the menu. Went down a treat. Hamper delivered to person in need unable to attend our service due to ill health.

All of us here at Helping hand Waterford would like to sincerely thank the DEISE BIKERS MCC who presented us with a cheque for 2500 Euro this morning. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into your fundraisers. This will make such a difference to our organisation.

Last night at Helping hand waterford we celebrated a very special person. Eamonn Morrissey has volunteered with us since the very start. As vice chairperson he goes above and beyond every day for the people we look after. We couldn't do what we do without him . From all your friends at Helping hand, thank you Eamonn for your kindness and dedication. A huge thanks to all his family and friends for making the night so special and to Mayor Adam Gary Wyse for presenting the award , Dick Roche for capturing the event so well with this video and Eamonns friend Kevin Bailey for the beautiful food.

Good morning. We are appealing to our wonderful supporters to help us help a young man who has moved from being homeless to getting a lovely forever home. He is nearly sorted but in need of a vacuum cleaner, clothes horse, frying pans and saucepans. If anyone can help please let us know. Thanks again.
