Waterford Pride Waterford Pride August 18th - 20th 2023 After a shorts hiatus, we were delighted to bring Waterford Pride back with a bang in 2022.

A huge part of the LGBTQIA+ community since 2008, Waterford Pride began when a group of volunteers got together to create Waterford's first Pride festival. The event has grown year on year, with visitors travelling from all over the country to support the events, acts and community! In recent years, a committee decision was made to halt Waterford Pride, giving the festival the time and rest it needed to re-imagine and rejuvenate itself. Plans are in motion and we can't wait to share what we have planned for 2023. Waterford Pride is a non-funded, non-profit community based organisation committed to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community while promoting diversity, equality and pride.

Shaz was a valued member of many Waterford Pride committees over the years and gave so much to the LGBTQ+ community. Their dedication, kindness, and commitment touched countless lives.

Please join us this Friday night at Bank Lane as we come together to celebrate the life of Shaz, share memories, and honour everything they meant to our community. Everyone is welcome that knew Shaz. Free entry doors 8pm.
