Bunmahon Tidy Towns – We’re Looking for a Social Media & Communications Officer

Our committee is reorganising, with some long-standing members stepping back, and we’re now looking for new people to step forward and get involved.

One key role we’d love to fill is Social Media & Communications Officer.
This person would help us with:
• Managing our social media pages
• Sharing updates and announcements about village projects
• Creating short newsletters
• Posting weekly items to the Bunmahon Notes in local newspapers
• Helping us tell the many positive stories happening in our community

This could be a great opportunity for a younger person who has an interest in communications, content creation, or who is studying something in that area and wants hands-on experience.

Thanks to Seafield NS staff and children for conducting a litter pick on Weds morning. A fantastic enthusiastic bunch. Not a speck of rubbish could be seen after them. They did phenomenal work in Tra Na Mbho which was destroyed with litter, beer cans and glass bottles making it seriously dangerous for any other users. They also had a little lesson on Seashore life and identifying various species and being mindful to care for all sea creatures. They discovered lots of sea life on our shore and in our rock pools. To finish we played a beach bingo game. Well done all for taking part and doing yourselves and your school proud. Many thanks from Bunmahon Tidy Towns.
