Family Stories is a supportive, confidential space where people can come together to listen, share (if they want to), and hear how others are coping in similar situations.
Sometimes just hearing another person’s story can help make sense of your own, and bring a little hope.

WCDP were delighted to attend the 7th National Migrant Inclusion Conference in Dublin on June 3rd. The Conference brings together national groups and NGOs to to discuss key areas of integration to share ideas and identify positive actions to promote effective migrant integration and inclusion in Ireland. The theme of this year’s conference was "Vision for the Future: Building a Shared Home in Ireland.

Sights from the beautiful long distance walking route on our doorstep here in west Cork.

The Beara Way is a 220 km long distance walking route around the highly spectacular Beara Peninsula. It connects to the Sheep’s Head Way and the Sli Gaeltacht Mhuscrai at Kealkil – and is also part of the Beara-Breifne way – a long distance walking trail inspired by the legendary 17th century march of O’Sullivan Beare, last great chieftain of West Cork, the Beara-Breifne Way rambles 685 km north from Beara to Blacklion in Co. Cavan.
