There’s still time to complete your National Inpatient Experience Survey. By now, people who spent more than 24 hours in hospital and were discharged in May 2026 have received an invitation to complete the survey in a secure link, sent by text message from trusted sender CareSurvey.

The National Inpatient Experience Survey aims to improve the safety and quality of care provided to people in hospital and covers every aspect of inpatient care from admission, to the ward, care and treatment, interaction with staff and discharge.

The National Inpatient Experience Survey is part of the National Care Experience Programme, a joint initiative of HIQA , the HSE and Roinn SlΓ‘inte, Department of Health .

Congratulations to Sharon Donohue and Natasha Daly on their appointment to the National Cardiac Services Implementation Plan Oversight Group (IOWG).

Their representation at this national forum ensures the expertise and voice of the Cardiac Physiology community will help shape the future of cardiac care in Ireland.

The group held its first meeting in June and will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the implementation of the National Cardiac Services 3-Year Implementation Plan.

We wish Sharon and Natasha every success in these important roles and look forward to their contribution to improving cardiovascular care nationwide.
