25 years of memories, friendship, adventure and community πβ€οΈ
As we prepare to reopen the 5th Carlow Tullow Scout Group, we want to take a moment to recognise the incredible people and places that helped shape scouting in our community.
From dedicated Scouters (adult volunteers) who gave countless evenings, weekends and camps, to the young people who proudly wore the neckerchief and carried the spirit of scouting with them...... thank you. Your impact continues to be felt across Tullow and beyond.
Weβre also deeply grateful to the schools, halls, businesses, families and community venues that supported scouts over the years. Whether it was providing meeting space, helping with fundraising, transport, events or simply encouragement, scouting has always been a community effort.
This photo collage, proudly displayed in Spar Tullow, is a lovely reminder of the friendships, adventures and local pride built through scouting. So many faces, stories and memories captured in one frame and a reminder of how important youth organisations are in building strong communities.
Now, weβre looking ahead.
π We are welcoming new members to join the adventure!
If your child enjoys the outdoors, teamwork, learning new skills, making friends and having fun, scouting could be the perfect fit.
π Weβre also always happy to hear from adults who might like to get involved. Especially former scouts who would like to reconnect and help the next generation experience the same opportunities.
No previous experience needed, just community spirit and a willingness to help.
